... a K390 Military.
This is true :) I have the PM3 in K390 and am very happy with the way it behaves.

I missed the M4 Militaries that were around for a bit, then the secondhand prices got away from me. I'd definitely grab an M4 Millie if it showed up, as well as one in a tough stainless.

Re: Spyderco Military Observations

Nice little history that, vivi. The Military is just about the perfect knife. I had a few in the past, dating back to 2007 like you, but let them go. Then I picked one up in CF/52100 and have scarcely carried anything else since. Not many Millies out there to buy at the moment. I'd like one in a sta...

Re: 52100 steel

I have two fixed blade knives in 52100. By miles they are my favourite knives for outdoorsing and the garage and garden. Readily sharpenable, tough. So, when I saw the Millitary in 52100, I bought one. Then I bought another one. :) Perfect that thing is. Perfect. (I'd still like another MIllie. I ha...

Re: Are Military's done?

Was that from Warriors and Wonders in Vancouver. I had my eye on that one, but when I went to buy it, it had gone. Glad to see this thread and all the reassurances in it as to the future of the MIllie. Like the OP, I was getting a bit antsy when I started to realize they were getting rare. I have ha...

Re: He-Man Military Lover's Club - Enlist Here

I just love this knife. I had a few quite a while ago - including an orange G10 version - but sold them off because of poverty. Despite their signs of much use, they sold in seconds of course. Recently, I scored versions in M4 and 52100, and the old flame returned. The perfect size for a completely ...

Peel ply scales

I looked but couldn't see a thread on this ... although I suspect there must be one. Is there a place that people try and find homes for their old peel ply G10 Spyderco scales after they have bought, say, new, custom aftermarket scales for their knife? Looking to replace the jade scales on a M4 Mili...

Re: I wish Spyderco would make...

I have wanted to see a modern sobuster from Spyderco for ages and ages. In G10 and VG10 to be exact. For a time I was a bore on the subject and then just gave up hoping. Doesn’t fit the general scope of the company I think

Anyway

Boker just made it ... The Slack. So I don’t have to hope no more :)

Re: Is this normal? Regarding 2017 Baby Jess Horn.

Are you experiencing any of the issues or stiffness that the OP had? Is yours very smooth and easy to open and close? No problems at all, though I do perhaps understand the OP's question. The Baby Horn is a compact affair and initially asked a bit of my thumb. But, once I gave it a good sluicing ou...

Just got one of these a couple of weeks ago and have carried it steady since. I was looking forward to it coming out and it is everything I hoped it would be. Which is a rare thing :)

Dragonfly: ZDP blade into stainless scales?

Something has been tempting me

I really fancy a stainless steel Dragonfly with a ZDP blade. But I am a bit adrift on models and compatibility

I have the ZDP one, but have yet to get the stainless one

Does anyone know if the swap doable?

Thanks for any help :)
