It has way too much belly for the types of tasks I do. It's also a little hard to remove from the pocket being so low riding. When I have carried it, I've found removing it from the pocket consistently annoying... I like just about everything else though. It's not nearly as chunky or bulky as I exp...

Just got mine yesterday and am lovin it! Is it perfect? Not quite, but nothing that's a deal breaker for me. This knife is solid and beefy and feels like it can take anything you throw at it. It's riding in my RFP and will get a workout this week to see how it does as my edc.

Agreed. Tom was my go-to guy for pretty much any Spyderco I wanted to pre-order. Great guy to do business with and I hope somehow, he gets back in the game. Best wishes for Tom for sure.

Mine did the same thing when I first got it - open slowly and it would engage too early for me. If I put pressure on the spine though, it would seat a little further in. Open it quickly (normally) and it would lock up perfectly. I've been carrying it and using it for a few days now and no matter how...

Mine is absolutely perfect in every way. I honestly can't find one nit to pick with this one. EDIT - I just noticed a little nick on the clip side of the ricasso. I think someone slipped with the grinder. So I guess, other than that one little nit (which does not bother me at all) the knife is perfe...

Mmmmmm....Millie in Elmax would be sweet! I only have one Elmax blade and that is my composite ZT 0350. I love that little beast though and have really enjoyed the Elmax steel.

Come on Sal, do it!! :D

Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Is it here yet? :)

Can't wait. Plus, I have a NIB black Yojimbo headed my way. Scored it in a trade and am soooo happy. I traded off my blue Yojimbo a while back and have regretted it ever since. Now, I will have both versions, in black. :D :D

Hey Tom, I am LOVING mine!! Edge retention and sharpenability are both top notch in my book. All the claims of it being very close to a stainless CPM-D2 are valid, IMO. I also have millies in S30V, D2, BG-42 and M4. After carrying and using the XHP version, I think it might be my favorite steel so f...

Got my pre-order in for in. With my newly constrained budget, seems like the ONLY knives I buy anymore are sprint/special run Millies (XHP, M4 and now M390). Really looking forward to this one.

ZT's are great for your intended purposes. Relatively inexpensive for what you get as well. I have two 350's (one Elmax composite blade and one satin S30V) and they both rock. :)

Just wanted to throw in my $.02 here as well. I can get my edges hair whittling sharp with just my Sharpmaker and UF stones. If I want to get really stupidsharp, I use a loaded leather strop. Not really a practical edge, but very satisfying to get them to that point every once in a while. Also with ...

For me, like others, I was a tip up guy for many, many years. But that was carrying mostly 3" or so folders. Once I got my first Millie, I *thought* tip down was going to be a hassle, but it's really not and I actually do prefer tip down on larger folders now. For me, speed is generally not the...
