put Primitive Bone scales (à la GEC slippies) on it and I'd carry it into the grave.

...that said, I'd happily settle for regular ol' bone or an ivory micarta.

just for the amount of heavy-petting they get it's my navigator IIs and my queen canoe slipjoint. I'm pretty sure I know these knives better than their designers :)

slippies: I love the looks & feel of my Queen Cutlery canoe, but I can't convince the D2 to take an edge. Case's CV line is quite nice - I've been using a medium stockman as a school edc lately and it raises no eyebrows. (the edge that steel takes is really lovely, too) I can't see myself buying...

1 caly3
2 navigatorIIs
1 small persian (MIA)
1 cricket
& a military, next.

after that, I'll probably focus on the LBKs - the g10 dragonfly & the leafstorm which are (thankfully, for me - I'm broke) a ways away from production.

...84 ronins!

If you're looking for a user, buying a Nav 2 and having it customized is an option - I believe you could even buy a Dragonfly for the blade & lockbar and have whatever shape scales you like cut.

My girlfriend liked my Navi so much I had to buy a second :)

My vote is for the DS Lite. The quality of the games coming out these day is unbelievable. I like that it's a clamshell, so the design keeps the screens clear of scrapes and scratches. (and we all like handsomely designed pocketables that flip open, no?) Furthermore, you can buy a micro-sd reader to...
