Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Ever since I put this back in my pocket I haven't felt like carrying anything else. Its a great warm weather EDC for me with the DLC coated stainless. I've come to prefer the tip down clip over tip up for IWB too. https://files.catbox.moe/joyxaj.jpg Should have a new Chief coming in the mail tomorro...

Re: Switch Gamers

I have been stuck on Civilization 6. It is a fantastic game and physical copies are $12.99 at Amazon. That is a ridiculous amount of entertainment, for the price. http://amzn.to/2PQebWK I'll order a copy. Always heard good things about the series but never tried it. I need more turn based games.

Re: Switch Gamers

Risk of Rain 2 is on sale for $10 right now. I bought it even though I have the cartridge. Gonna lend out my physical copy to friends and try to get them hooked too.

BTW, they sent the satin/uncoated Aqua Salt. Good sized knife, super grippy handle similar to a waterway. Sheath is almost too snug but retention is great once in place.
They must have been sitting on those for a while, the satin version was discontinued years ago.

Anyone that thinks palm strikes and slaps are worthless is an uneducated fool.

Re: What's Cookin'?

Yep. It's funny, I've worked in a lot of different fields, but I always seem to find my way back into kitchens one way or another. When covid19 lockdowns closed my old job down a year ago I enjoyed a little time off, then went back to slingin pizzas in the next state over where things opened up soon...

Re: Misadventures with My Military

I like using this grip with larger folders for slicing tape on a box. Lets me control the tip really well and avoid over penetration ;)

Haha, that sounds like me on my off days. I only eat good at work, at home I never feel like cooking unless I have company.

Re: Watches

still debating what to get.

I like the features and price of this, but would like something with a slightly slimmer face.

If you call yourself a knife geek and you don’t own a Japanese laser then you need to get one. This ain’t even a super expensive knife but it is R2/Super Gold and the grind is crazy thin. I can’t do this with any folder I own. https://i.imgur.com/eJTnLJr.mp4 Ok now I want to pick the sharpest folde...

Re: Salt Series without washers - Internal FRN wear?

I have salts in the 10-15 year old range that still work fine, and there are plenty of Endura 1-3's still in use out there. I wouldn't worry.

Re: Who has the S35VN Tenacious LW? Does it get overlooked and if,WHY?!

Better late than never, my friend :D I dug up the review I posted in 2008...sadly the pictures are gone and the computer they're stored on isn't plugged up, but they were mostly comparison shots between the Military and Tenacious. My local knife store received a new Spyderco shipment recently so I p...

That looks good! Makes me want to look into some custom scales for mine. Do you know if the maker does that style in green?

Re: My favorite handle design

I'd like to see them bring this back as a CBBL, and see if there's anything they could tweak to make it fold up a bit slimmer. It has a very nice handle. I used to have one of these and I agree with everything you wrote. I ended up selling mine in favor of keeping my C95 Manix because I didn't like ...

Re: Serrated edge fans

Am I seeing that h1 works better job with serrations than vg-10? I never thought when I bought my first knife as an adult, my spyderco ambitious, I’d fall down this rabbit hole. Yes. Better edge holding, better corrosion resistance, and less likely to chip. The only thing VG10 has over SE H1 is the...
