Thanks guys. I guess I was just overthinking it. I've been a fan of Spyderco for a long time, and have confidence in their products. The knives I have just get typical pocket knife duty anyway. I guess I won't have to worry about the lock failing on me when I use my Manix 2 to open the mail, cut up ...

Liner Locks Don't 'Snap' Closed - A Concern?
I'm interested in a Manix 2, a Military as well as a few other liner and frame lock knives and I noticed that nearly all of them didn't have a decent amount of 'snap' (for lack of a better word) when the blade was folded back into the handle. I have several lockbacks, and when the blade is folded ...

My First Millie - Too Big to EDC?
Tomorrow I'm heading off to look at some knives as an early Christmas present to myself. I'm looking at the Military, Manix 2 and Al Mar Shrike. Of these three, I"m heavily leaning towards the Millie. However, I've carried my Delicas for so long that I'm wondering if the Millie will be too big.

Para Military 2 Release Date
Anyone have any concrete info on when we'll be able to get our hands on this excellent looking Spydie?
I'm ready for a new Spydie, and this one looks like it'll fit the bill perfectly.
Any information will be appreciated.

Manix replacement?
Sorry if this has been discussed before, but are there any plans that anyone knows of for a replacement Manix and Mini Manix? I wish I pulled the trigger on these earlier, but funds didn't allow it. I'm looking for a knife that is very close to either one of these legends.

Stainless Steel Native - Too Heavy for EDC?
Hey guys,
I've been absent for a while, but still browsed from time to time. It's time to buy myself a Christmas present and I'm really leaning towards the Native in SS. Is this too heavy to use as an EDC? I only handled one once before, and if I recall, it seemed like it had a nice heft to it, but ...

Delica 4 FRN Rediscovered...
A while ago I posted a thread indicating that my other Spydies were collecting dust since getting my Native FRN. That's true. However, this evening I needed to open a few things and my Delica 4 FRN was handy. I forgot how much I really like this knife. The action is so smooth and the blade is as ...

The more I carry my Native...
... the more my other Spydies gather dust. I bought a new Delica a couple of weeks prior to the Native and loved carrying it. However, and there's always a 'however' in life, after getting the Native in my hand and carrying it for a few days, I'm hooked! I absolutely love this knife. It fits my hand ...

Convert Spyder edge to Plain edge? Can it be done?
My old Endura (SE) is getting pretty worn. I just got it back from Golden after being sharpened, and it's getting very worn. It's to the point where the points are rounded off. I hate to retire the knife, because it's still in great shape otherwise.

I know exactly what you mean. Letters/mail? Come on you guys. How about using our knives for what they were made to do? What are you guys, afraid to really use them as intended? I’m certainly not. ****, my Delica and newly acquired Native have been tearing through M&M bags, protein bar wrappers, a ...
