I dropped my S30V Native with the blade open and it landed tip down on my concrete basement floor  It chipped only the very fine point at the tip off of the blade but it also bent the first 1/4 inch approximately 5-7 degrees out of true to the left :( (I was up on a ladder installing a new ligh...

+1 for CPMD2. I can't tell you much about heat treating, etc. (thanks to Mike for a good explanation), but I can tell you that as an EDC user, no other knife I own can beat my CPMD2 Millie. The edge retention is downright ridiculous and I have had absolutely no problems with corrosion. As Vivi said,...

Normally for me it's an Endura CE and a Cricket SE, or my waved Delica PE and the Cricket, but I just got a D2 Millie PE yesterday (my first Millie - WAHOOO! :D ) and it has replaced both the Delica and Endura as my new favourite carry knife. Right now it's paired with a Jester PE because the Millie...

This seems like a good thread for my first post (new to the forums). I'm currently flying a helicopter in the middle of nowhere, northwestern Canada and I carry an Endura 4 CE and a large Rescue SE everyday I fly.
