I dropped my S30V Native with the blade open and it landed tip down on my concrete basement floor  It chipped only the very fine point at the tip off of the blade but it also bent the first 1/4 inch approximately 5-7 degrees out of true to the left :( (I was up on a ladder installing a new ligh...

Hey all, it's been a while. I have to add that I missed the boat on my one chance to won a dodo before they were discontinued and now I want one really badly. an orange dodo would definitely find a home in my ever growing collection.

My out loud verbalization involved a different 4-letter word. Giant squid attacking your boat or sabre-tooth tigers running wild in the streets are both excellent uses for this awesome piece of H1! I love it.

I always have a D4 in one pocket or another, and when I'm @ work I carry something bigger to supplement it, either an E4 or my D2 Millie depending on how I'm feeling in the morning.

Cheers.

+1 for CPMD2. I can't tell you much about heat treating, etc. (thanks to Mike for a good explanation), but I can tell you that as an EDC user, no other knife I own can beat my CPMD2 Millie. The edge retention is downright ridiculous and I have had absolutely no problems with corrosion. As Vivi said,...

My knife buying had been pretty slow until this year. I realize that 4 knives is nothing compared to some, but I managed to squeeze these into the budget somehow... :D

Normally for me it's an Endura CE and a Cricket SE, or my waved Delica PE and the Cricket, but I just got a D2 Millie PE yesterday (my first Millie - WAHOOO! :D ) and it has replaced both the Delica and Endura as my new favourite carry knife. Right now it's paired with a Jester PE because the Millie...

This seems like a good thread for my first post (new to the forums). I'm currently flying a helicopter in the middle of nowhere, northwestern Canada and I carry an Endura 4 CE and a large Rescue SE everyday I fly. The Rescue is an amazing pocket saw for clearing small brush away from a landing pad. ...
