Thanks a lot for all the replies, i have a much better sense of what it entails. Now i really need to get one. Except i can't get just the trainer but everyone will want to play with it, so i can't get just the live blade either. Oh well. What is provided at the seminars? i know you provide trainers...

How hard to you think it would be to use a gunting left handed. This is an issue for me because i really would like to learn, but i don't want to buy a knife that won't work for me. Ok, question for Bram or others, so what exactly is the theory behind kinetic openings and how would they actually work in a fight? Also, would you expect the compression lock to work equally well for lefties?
