Do you still plan on doing the Navigator II with a bolster and wood handles?

The Salsa I bought from SFO a few weeks ago came without the Salsa logo on the handle. I haven't decided if i like it better that way or not yet.

I REALLY like what you did to the Lil' Temp!

I think that your blade modification along with bobtailing the handle on the Dodo would make an excellent new model from Popa Spyderco! Makes for a small and comfortable cutting package. :D

I read elsewhere that an individual had problems with play in two of his Ti-Salsas. Have you had any problems with blade play in yours, ChrisH?

Ti Salsa vs. Walker

I am looking at possibly geting a Ti Salsa but I also keep looking at the Walker. The blade lengths are pretty much the same so I put them in the same catagory. I'm a college student so I'm thinking Sheeple friendly; one reason I like the sub 3 inch blade length catagory. I have a regular blue Salsa...

I have a blue Salsa I bought a month ago and I'm very pleased with it. I'm contemplating buying a #50 Ti Salsa from a shop I know about. The price isn't too bad and I'm in negotiations with the Wife. We will have to see how the negotiations turn out. She bought some jewelry over the Memorial holiday...

So the Ti Salsa doesn't have an excentric blade pivot then?

Question about the Ti Salsa

I'm thinking about getting a Ti Salsa and wanted to know if it came with an excentric blade pivot?

I'm a fan on the plain edge. I like the ease of sharpening and I can either leave the edge alone after the medium stone ot I can go to the fine stone and then strop if i want a polished edge.

I like the drop point myself simply because it is easier to sharpen on flat benchstones.

No complaints about my Salsa's compression lock except that I think that it is backwards for a right hander.
