Favorites? Horn. All variations except the jigged bone. Perfect gentleman knives all. Goddard. All variations, even though the small one was a bit, well, small. Working on getting the gray one as I type. Rookie was another great one. Could not have packed another millimeter of blade into the handle....

Remember hearing about a case (was it california?) about a judge asking the officer how he knew the defendant was carrying a concealed weapon, a folding knife with a pocket clip in this instance. The officer replied that he could see it, he could see the pocket clip. Judge said if you could see it, ...

The Standard, as far as I know, was discontinued at the end of last year. Something about being too many models looking similar. I have one and am looking to get more. Great little knives. Beefy Delica with G-10. Too bad it's not tip-up. Wait, that's the Rookie. Also discontinued. WWWWHHHHYYYY!!!!!?...

Militec-1 questions

Just ordered some Militec-1 from their website based on the good things I can remember hearing about it. Two things that I can't remember about it are; 1 - how effective is it for rust prevention? 2 - did someone mention it's best to heat it up with a hairdryer or something after applying it? And my...

The Baby Jess Horn is another excellent choice and my current favorite after I broke the pocket clip on my Dragonfly. Sitting in a boring presentation yesterday, my boss reached over and pulled the baby Jess Horn out of my pocket. Figured out how to open it up then stabbed himself good in his finger...

Quick question about the Baby Jess Horn - to my knowledge, they were made with White micarta, Black micarta, and stainless steel handles. Is this correct? Any other variations released, like Burgundy? Thanks. Oh - Patty, my Baby's got to their new home safe and sound. Thanks very much. May be orderi...

I think the ideas for a Delica or Endura are right on the money. Sal mentioned in an earlier post (this forum? the other?) they are the best selling models in the lineup. My first Spyderco was a Delica, as I'm sure many of yours was also. They are the most popular, the backbone of the line. Honoring...
