I can understand why some of you, including thomas, disagree. however, I'm basing my conclusions on my personal experiences. Nothing more, nothing less. Those could be skewed, but they are what they are.

Sorry to ruffle feathers and I've said my last on the subject.

Since I got into Spyderco I have been having a hard time pulling the trigger on other brands. Last year I grabbed a scallion (blue handle/black blade) at NG and I hate it. Really hate it. To all the Spyderco fans out there, are there any Kershaws that you like? Also, what other knife brands are in ...

I've heard STR talk about seeing lots of damage from flicking hard. I NEVER flick my knives open as a general rule. I just don't want to cause any damage.

I had an ex10 and while it was a good light, I just didn't care for it.

Nice pics though!

Well, unfortunately this is a gift for a friend in 3 days. Fortunately, (I guess) he's not a big knife person (I'm working on this) and will probably not notice.

For future reference, I'm wondering if anyone else has received a knife that wasn't straight; just to know what to expect.

I think it ...

PLEASE DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HATE AO! They don't add anything to a knife. As a matter of fact, I've had 6 AO knives that failed to deploy or had significant problems. It's one of the reasons I love Spydies.

Thanks for listening,

I've been carrying mine for two days now and I love it! I was wary of the linerlock being so thin, but it's very strong and it seats well. I'm considering grabbing another one.... :D

Have no idea about washers but the knife sounds dirty. Tips for cleaning spydies:

I would just wash it really well and let it dry, or dry it with a hair dryer. I have gotten a couple spyders from Seki that were kind of dirty, but after a ...

hi there
I didn't disassemble it, but I can see that there are no washers in it. It's really noisy opening up. I bought it BNIB.

Thanks!
Brett

Are you saying you disassembled it and there were no washers? Or just that you cannot see any when looking at the assembled knife?

I know that some all ...

lum zdp-189 no washers?

hi all,

I bought a spyderco lum chinese folder today. I really love the blade shape, etc, but have noticed that there are no washers on the pivot.

Is it supposed to have washers or what? the blade makes a gritty sound you would expect with no washers.

Thanks for your help.

This knife is great. The only improvement I could see would be a chrome clip. The black one clashes a bit.

I agree. However, I took the clip off mine and just slip it in my pocket. It's nice for slacks carry.

I love this knife. I have to say in all honesty that I've been on the search for a ...

I finally got mine, and I love it, too! The Foliage green looks great with the silver pins - that color really is shade-shifting - cool. I put a steeper edge on mine and now it cuts like a laser. Honestly - now don't noone beat me - I wish it wasn't full flat, but very high flat ground. It just ...

I really like the millie but it's just TOO big for me. I don't use very large knives and the 4 inch blade is just too much for me.

It's a gorgeous knife though. I'm sure you can use it and abuse it like the para.

Take care,
Brett
