Final Worker

Is a "final model" of the old Worker still being planned for 2001? If so, what features will it have? Any idea as to production numbers and release date? I would like to see something similar to the Evolution Set; with rubber inlay ss scales and plain edge blade like the first models. Than...

A suggestion: Try to get some different grades of Scotch-Brite pads. The green; as sold in markets and dept. stores is too coarse. However the brown pads are close to the grit needed to match the brushed ss finish. They are sold by Brownells (gunsmith supply house) as "blending/polishing pads&q...

Model number question

I was curious about the numbering of the first models. As I understand it they were: 1001 Worker 1002 Mariner 1003 Hunter 1004 Executive 1005 Standard 1007 Police 1008 Harpy 1009 CoPilot My question is: why no model 1006 (or 6)? Was this just an unused number or a "lost model"? Thanks!

Dear Spyder-Nuts, Here is another opinion: the "pearly" G10 scales that I saw at this years Blade Show were UGLY in the extreme. I like the idea of something different in a Forum knife. Solid colors in G10 OK; but the imitation pearl looks cheap. Its like putting plastic pearl grips on a f...

I have been doing some research on this and I think I've come up with the makers address: Empire Pewter Manufacturing PO Box 15 Amsterdam, NY 1201 Phone 518-843-0048 The good news is that they will sell to the public. Pins are $5.95 plus shipping. The bad news is that their catalog only shows the fo...

As a soulthpaw I am slow to buy any model that is right-handed only (linerlocks). In the past month I have bought a Horn (A.G.Russell flat ground) and a Hunter. Both have the back locking bar and are easy for me to operate. On a related note, do you still have any of the left-handed Terzoulas? Thank...

Hat pins/Tie tacks

You folks were nice enough to give me a SpyderWrench hat pin at the Blade Show. Thanks! I know these types of items are promotional in nature (not designed to be sold), but I was wondering if I could purchase other models of your pins. This goes along with the other thread about shirts, mugs, and de...
