Hey, pj, hope you've healed up. Now I certainly don't wish to offend or patronize, but as Mr. Row has alluded, safety begins in the home. I personally treat every firearm I handle as if loaded (the gun, not me), and every knife as if it were a ...

Hey, Sheeple, I think Spyderco Salticid has a better ring to it than, say, Spyderco Pro-Venator,to mention one.

How about "Salty" for salticids?
Since it would be UK legal, what about the "Anglia"?
Or, since scouts could be allowed to carry it, the "Scout" might be nice?

"I got Happy Jack nice and sharpened-up, see? Now I'm shavin' me arms like a bloomin' monkey. Knifeknuts like the Jack because it's tight, tight, tight. It hangs out in our pockets and it's light, light, light, light, LI-IIGHT!" Edited by - Frank ...

Hey, Copilotboy, thanks for asking... I'd always carried knives at work: utility knife/box cutters to big heavy Schrade to light thin Schrade to Gerber to Buck... never knowing or caring about materials/steels/hardness etc. I was more oriented toward ease of deployment, and my knives evolved along ...

My ital. switch... can't carry it, but love popping it open while watchin' tv. Also have a great handmedown japanese-antique-bamboo-handled sushi knife, it's pitted & scarred,
I can't read any of the "hallmarks", but it cuts like a bastid!

hey, tique,
don't really use it much anymore, but the last fixed-blade I carried regularly was my Gerber mark I... on long motorcycle trips I could grab it with either gloved hand, and carried small-of-back it was easy to forget it was even there.

Jeff,
I just got an Endura 2 wks. ago, and can assure you I don't regret the decision. In zytel, the balance is nearly perfect... just a somewhat larger Delica. I suspect either way you can't lose!

In "The Thin White Line" (Millennium), the Delica is used as a spatula for picking up bloody crime scene evidence. Although one of the killers uses a knife to mutilate victims, it's not a Spyderco.

Here's my thing; I'd like to have a flat-ground delica (best for pumpkin-carving),w/an fbi-blue handle, & maybe a tastefully engraved ouroboros around the thumbhole. Called the "Millennium Edition", it might appeal to knife knuts & roving-freelance-forensic-psychologists alike.
