I'd go with the Gunting and the Native or Military...but that's just my opinion.

Small: Stainless Steel dragonfly

Nice pictures Samo . Good luck in the future. Since we are talking about fishing, I might as well say that I enjoy a different kind of fishing. We usually go out for tuna, marlin, shark, and any other offshore fish. <img src="smile....

Cobra hood

This topic was discussed in BladeForums, but I'm still hazy. First off, what is this Cobra Hood? Secondly, what knives will have it? Last question, I promise: are there any pics?

Go with the dragonfly. I recently bought the ss version of the dragonfly for a dress knife, and it works great. I especially like the flat ground blade...a rare occurance with the stainless handles. Like always, it's a great knife. Of course, it's a spyderco. An honest man's pillow is his peace of m...

I'd have to agree with you on that one, Jeff. The 'one' has got to be the fully serrated stainless steel police. I own that plus about 11-13 other spyderco's and must say it fits in your hand great, has a great blade, and gets lost in your pocket.

what knife to buy....

A slight dilema is occuring. My sister's boyriend's birthday is August the 27, and I want to buy him a knife. He uses a fake spydie knock-off ( very dull, lots of bade play, and the lock fals while cutting cardboard), and I want to buy him a real spyderco. I love spyderco's. That's why I perfer to s...

A good poll

I got the idea to ask my fellow spydie nuts a question. So here it is...which you you prefer: hollow ground bade, or flat grind? And why? I personaly perfer the hollow ground. I think it looks great, and is even better with a top swedge. Sal, which do you like? An honest man's pillow is his peace of...

ceramic blade?

This is a quesion mainly for Sal: Do you plan on ever considering making a limited production knife with a ceramic blade and grey/black handles such as CF, or maybe G-10? I own a ceramic bladed Boker, and let me say it says sharp as **** (not as sharp as a spydie), and is super light. Maybe you coul...

dragonfly compared to navigator?

I figure on buying one this week and was wondering, which is better steel wise. The navigator is GIN-1 while the dragonfly is in either ATS-55 or AUS-8. Which is better in your opinion? I'm taking about edge retention, rusting, hardness, and the likes. Thanks for the help. PS- Which do you prefer an...

Navigator

I was just wondering if the Navigator should be my next purchase. I'm a big guy, 5'11" and 210 lbs., and was wondering if the Navigator would fit in my hand, or if it would feel awkward. I want this knife because I need a dress knife that won't break my checkbook. Any suggestions or ideas? Will...

Jeff: Good choice. I had my SS police with a fully serrated edge for almost a year now, and love it. Your right, it does disappear in your pocket, even though it weights nearly 6 oz. I don't carry it that much, the size and serrations tend to scare the people. That's why I'm trying to decide on my n...

the choices.....ah!

Hey, spyderco fanatics. First off,I would like to say I love the knives. I currently own a SS police, a Carbon Fiber Civilian, a spydercard, and the Gunting. I'm looking now for a knife that I could use for fishing. I ofen go offshore and fight large sharks and tuna. So I need a knife to cut the lin...
