Usless?

I have absolutly no use for this knife,

I bought it,

I hold it,

I love it.

Many popular designs are made even more popular with a "mini" version. In the case of the Street Beat, I think it could stand to grow an inch.

Familia

My wife's family, (Mexican) did a lot of cooking. I look in the knife drawer one day and and saw a lot of el cheapo knives - and for sharpening they had the grinder machine  . I ordered a Spyderco kitchen knife and a couple of german knives. I trashed the cheapos and stole the grinder. I sharpe...

Wow

I carry the CF Walker and it is the perfect EDC for me. Your changes are professional and I am impressed. I had jimping done by str and think it is a must on this knife. You did a great job and thanks for the pics. Thanks to Spyderco for the sprint run on this model.

S There is one thing I find strange about the Walker, ergonomically. The choil is very shallow and doesn't really provide a very secure place for your finger. Also, the jimping in the choil area doesn't provide much traction because it just barely protrudes from the scales and liner. As a result, I ...

Got one, and it's a beauty. Love the size and weight. No cracks on CF and F&F is fine. One complaint: no jimping.....Can anyone think of a reason why this blade should lack jimping?....Seems obvious it needs it. Actually there is jimping on the underside of the blade. See post #35 for custom ji...

Micro Manix

JT:

Love it. I need another Spydie like a hole in the head but this idea I love. The Chicago is a dud. The Manix is a hit. I am sure Eric is working on this. Put the Meerkat... blade shape on this puppy in a good steel in G10 bb lock, no cage, wire clip, and you have a home run.

Micro Manix

Looking for the micro manix. The Manix is a high volume seller. The meerkat is a hit. The Chicago bit the dust. Put the blade shape on the meerkat on the micro-manix with a no-cage ball lock. Viola.

This ia a natural evolution.

"Why cage the ball?" The cage is plastic clutter.

I have a Dodo and love the bare ball lock.

I think the cage was put on for digitally challenged persons who cant make two fingers work togther.

The ball lock is the ultimate hard core lock-up. KISS -Less is more.

Carbon Fiber

Damfan:

Super pics.

Is that a single carbon fiber I see sticking up in your pic?

Looks like a hard/brittle material.
