fellyjr, WOW! Is that ever nice! I used to own a G10 Harpy, in serrated edge..,.I was thinking of trying to track down another, but that PE CF Harpy is wicked! :) What dealer has a good price on them? EDIT - I see they were produced in a Sprint run...I'll start searching. Thanks a lot - Jeff.

G10 Police models

Darn...I used to have the newer version with liners and flat ground blade in both plain edge and serrated, and the older style, with no liners and the hollow ground blade in plain edge. Somehow, I managed to let all three "get away" from me.

That special pouch...

Hey Clay,

Good to hear from you! :)

I still use the scrotal pouch for my change, saving up for my next Spydie.

Thanks again, buddy!

Dude, you have NO choice! You have to get your daughter a pink Delica or Endura! http://www.emergencyoptions.com/catalog/product.aspx?ItemCode=C10PPN That's a heckuva deal for an Endura in any color, much less pink! All in favor of Jeff/1911 buying his daughter a pink Spydie, say ''aye.'' AYE! AYE!...

Thanks guys. Yes, I am sure fortunate to have such a great and considerate kid...I was joking about the "lucky because of the new knife" thing.

My new Manix, and a heartwarming story...

Well, after just rediscovering the forum here this past week...I couldn't resist adding a new Spydie to my collection. :D I was shopping with my 12 year old daughter last evening, and we stopped into the local knife shop. I handled both the large and smaller Manix and really was impressed by both......

Spydieman,

I too think of this as a form of initiation from a given knife...and yes, it is a plain edge. :) Thanks for the wishes, same to you!
