Spyderco spydercard

I might buy one to fit in my wallet. How thick are they? 1/8?

Will I be happy if I get one? Anybody have one, like to share your thoughts?

You would certainly ruin the blade.

I mean, it would still cut, but the steel would be ruined and when you send it to sal to get it fixed, he'll say too bad Einstein.

Well, I just mentioned the police because it looks like a great knife, but I would hesitate to carry it in public because of the large size. I'm sure others have hesitated in buying this knife too. I think maybe a 4 inch, or better yet maybe a 3.75 inch blade. Also, on the trainers I think you fancy...

But the reason the civie was never for LEO's was because it was expensive and "punks" won't dish out $150+ ?

If you break the tip off of the civie, will sal replace it?

Why is the civie so much more if the matriarch is now available? (to regular people)

Can't be good for them.

I think you should just go over them with a damp cloth. Put a little oil on the moving parts and then dry it off.

It's not the heat or moisture but the time it takes inside the darn thing! It probably won't DAMAGE your knives, but it can't be good for them.

I think that "selfpreservation" is fine, but I also think people are being made paranoid by watching TV. I think it's fine for the 1% of the population that is smart enough to avoid dangerous situations, and to take responsibility for their actions. I think it's 10X more important on learn...

What is a LEO?

Why was the matriarch ever restricted to LEO's

Why isn't it covered by the warranty?

OK, but will you recoat it if one is sent to you? Just like you do the complimentary sharpening? Example: The black finish is worn around the hole and near the edge. If I send it to you, will you re finish it? I was just asking because I had this S&W "SWAT" knife with a black blade, an...

Starmate or Bob Lum tanto! Can't go wrong with one of these. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Besides, both are GREAT knives and you're missing a tactical style knife.

440 stainless on Starmate?

Why is this steel used? I thought that this was inferior to ats-34, ats-55, and VG-10!

Less expensive knives have the better steel!

Bob Lum tanto, wich style?

I have seen it in:

G-10 black blade plain edge

titanium serrated

titanium plain

Which would you choose, and do you think the black on the blade would wear off around the opening hole after repeated use? Sal?

And is the knife good? liner lock works good? smooth? sturdy? light?

the knife they used in "fight club"

About .75 into the movie, they were about to cut the guys balls off with a spyderco. Which spyderco was it? I thought it was a police.

By the way, that was a BAD movie.

Emerson, Benchmade, Kershaw, Buck, etc.

What is the quality of these knives compared to a spyderco? What do owners of the different brands think of the spyderco knives? I was just wondering what the people that owned different brands thought of spyderco products. I just didn't want to go to bladeforums because I hate that site. This site ...

At 14 I had my old 3.75 inch S&W SWAT knife, and carried it onboard the plane for a trip to Pittsburg(grandma) I put the knife in the tray with my watch and my change and the security gaurd asked me to open the knife. I opened the knife REAL fast with one hand, and it was serrated inside for abo...
