Re: Spyderco Models That Deserved To Be Offered In SE

Quite surprised that Gringo’s new knife isn’t serrated also.

Re: oH tHe TiP iS ToO FrAGilE

 Those slightly reinforced tips are plenty pointy enough. What do you actually do with a tip that thin? Not much. How many slivers do you get? I modded the tip on my Dyad Jr. I like slicey, but the Endela slices just fine at its thickness. On the other hand, I really dislike the low grind ...

I’d love more FRN in that tan color, and white would be awesome too.

Definitely won’t replace your SE wharnie, but it’s a very nice knife. In my pocket right now. SE.

Re: K390 fans rejoice!

I think it’ll be the usual ones in the family, but the only ones I want are wharnie Delica and Endela, so might be out of luck. I hope I’m wrong.

Re: Wharncliffe Endure Serrated = Super Knife

The backspacer is a bit different on the wharnie and the regular. Wharnie is cut out entirely around the lanyard hole, and the end perhaps slanted steeper to fit the wharnie’s tip. Not sure what the Glock tool one looks like.

Re: Who wants a Delica Wharncliffe with ZDP189 and BRG?

Weird thing is, I sharpen freehand, and have never found ZDP hard to sharpen. Only steel that made me angry sharpening was S110V. I’d love a Cruwear wharnie, but also a ZDP. I often picture the ZDP one in my mind and wish. I love how the steel lightly patinas.

Is the Jazzlica the name for a wharncliffe Delica?

I guess it's sometimes a nickname for it.

Terrible lighting here at work, but I got some new jeans for work and didn't realize how small the pockets were. Small carries only for these ones.

That'd be a beast of a cutter. The HAP40 Wharncliffe Delica is one of my all time favourites for warehouse type work.

Maybe Sal and Eric will read this and hook us up.

I really wish there was a Delica wharnie ZDP 189. That’s what I’d suggest then.

Re: Wharncliffe Endure Serrated = Super Knife

Can't talk specifically about the Wharnie, but 3mm stock Vg10 in ffg and SE is amazing indeed... how do I know?: Endela SE!! For some reason I like Wharnies only in smaller blades, but I really hope that the regular Endura SE will (like the Endela) soon also come in ffg and not sg anymore... I agre...

Despite my loathing of the Endura handle, I think I need that Endura wharnie. I also need it in LC/Salt configuration please and thanks.

Get one and grind the handle down. I'd love to here what you think.

Re: Wharncliffe Endure Serrated = Super Knife

I finally brought mine to work to stand in for my indispensable wharnie Delica PE, and I couldn't believe the cutting performance of this FFG SE beast. I don't use large blades for work, but this thing very much impressed me, and I cut a lot of cardboard. Also a bunch of plastic jugs for fun. Hardly...

Re: Sal / Eric: what's your EDC rotation?

How do you like it so far? For me it has just something about it that makes me want to have it in hand and use it constantly. Up to the point, that I carry it MORE often than my EndURas, despite I still think the longer EndURa blade is more versatile and more usefull in certain tasks... (additional...
