Review of the green and blue Dog Tag

I wrote a review about the Dog Tag for Nemoknivesreview.com. You can find it here. For me it turned out to be a fun little knife! What do you think of the Spyderco Dog Tags?

I like the idea of a Lil'Hundred Pacer. It has and useful looking design but in now much to big for me to carry.

Looks like the size I like to. Currently enjoying the Elmax Urban. The Tern could be and inexpensive alternative.

Re: Sharpening choils - Why?

I am in Vivi's camp here. It is one of the things I like about Spyderco: no sharpeing choil! I have no problem shoarpening up to the recasso free hand.

I strop my razor but not my knife. On my pocket knife i like the toothy edge I get from a medium stone.

Depends on the knife. Some(times) with the thump, some(times) with the middle finger, some(times) with the spydie drop.

Re: Is your interest in sharpening on the same level as your interest in knives?

I am pretty much like you when it comes to sharpening Vivi. I remove factory edges, thin them, and put my own edge on, free hand. I enjoy a knife that cuts really well and that means tuning a edge to my liking.
