For folders, I carry a PE Military and a PE Chinook II. The Military is light, fast and cuts extremely well. It's easy to open and I trust the liner lock. The Chinook II has the same qualities, but I trust the lockback 100%. The steel liners give the knife a heftier feel that I like. When I carry a ...

BM makes extremely nice knives, but I prefer Spyderco for functionality and looks. I am however planning to pick up a 630 when they come out. The AXIS lock seems to be BM's only real innovation while Spyderco has numerous. Overall, Spyderco seems to be in a state of constant development while BM isn...

The only Spyderco that I ever got rid of was an SE Ayoob. I actually liked the knife, but decided that I would try to find a PE model. I still haven't found one for a decent price. Neat knife though.

I have a Chinook II and it is much better than the Chinook I in my opinion. The knife seems light to me; I have no problems carrying it. The Persian looks really nice, but I prefer the G-10 and reversable clip on the Chinook II. Also, S30V is a little better steel than VG-10. If it were one or the o...

A G-10 Police would be great. I'd actually like to see the SS handle covered with two G-10 scales rather than a complete G-10 handle. I feel that the SS handle gives the knife a nice balance.

The Military has a very comfortable handle. (I have 2 of them) In my opinion, the Military is the best knife Spyderco makes. The Chinook II is also a great knife if you had rather have another lockback. All the lockbacks have a tiny amount of play; it's normal. Don't worry about the lock failing, be...

I'm glad to hear that Spyderco is not being sold. It would be weird purchasing a knife from Spyderco under new ownership.

I've got at least a dozen or so knives on either side of the bed and a Glock 17 loaded with 18 rounds in the night stand at all times.

I have a Spydercard and think it's the best overall credit card knife around. My suggestion would be to make it thinner, upgrade the steel and play around with different blade shapes.

I wish that Spyderco would bring the Starmate back with a frame lock. The Starmate is one sweet knife.

I have 2 Militarys; one in 440V and one in S30V. S30V wins in both edge holding and ease of sharpening.

For a regular factory knife, I wouldn't pay over $150.00 - $200.00

If it were a custom knife, or something really nice, I might spend $500.00 - $1000.00

However, for me to spend that kind of money, it would have to be a REALLY special knife.

The Simpsons

Just about anything on the History Channel is great. I don't get to watch TV too often, but when I do, those are the shows I try to watch.

They are absolute crap in terms of quality. Some of their fantasy knives look neat, but they are just for hanging on the wall. If you are buying them only to look at, they should be ok.

I've got an old 440V version and a new S30V version. Both are great, but I like the new model better because the G-10 scales are slightly thicker and the steel is better. Great knife. If Spyderco would convert the Military to a compression lock, it would be the ultimate folder.

I don't know for sure, but I would say that a knife clipped in your pocket would not be concealed. To me, concealed means purposfully hidden or disguised to prevent detection. A folder clipped in a pocket has become so commonplace and easy to spot that I fail to see how it could be considered concea...

My Ronin had a similar edge when I first received it. You could not see anything unusual when looking at the edge, but you could feel it if you ran a fingernail over the edge. The curve was so minor that I could be sharpend out within a few minutes with a diamond hone. Otherwise, my Ronin was perfec...
