You haven't given us any clues about what you think defective really means. Secondly - screaming on this forum isn't going to get you much sympathty, WE LIKE SPYDERCO. Third...

tell me what method you use to cut. Maybe my cigars are just cheapo's, or I'm not doing it right. I've tried cutting the perimeter first, then progressively in....makes a huge mess. I've also tried straight cuts, back and forth motion....also quite a mess. - goofs-up the tip, unravels, etc. Maybe I ...

How did you first discover Spyderco?
Enumclaw's post made me think. How/Why did I first consider purchasing a Spyderco? What made me choose it if I've never carried a knife before? Spyderco is the first knife I actually purchased, and certainly the higher price made me a little worried. I'm not a big spender, but since I've had Spyderc...

Local knife pricing
I was in my local outdoor sports and athletic store, and found lightweight Enduras for $50 and lightweight Delicas for $40. On top of that, because they were just opening a new store, they sent out in the mail in my area coupons for $10 off your purchase. My neighbor gave me their coupon, so I went ...

Again, Sharpmaker. For the small serrations, I just go straight up and down, staying on the same serration for maybe 10 strokes. After those are all done, move on to pulling the entire blade across as you move down the rod (like normal sharpening)for say another 10 strokes. Then, another 10 of 'push...

I would have to agree with mac_heath about the points on the blade starting the cut. For example, if you were cutting some tape on a box with a plain edge knife, normally you would use the tip of the blade to actually do the cutting. With a serrated blade, there are more opportunities to get the cut...

custom-engraved knife
I saw in a Spyderco catalog about 2 yrs ago, a knife that you could order with a stamped-out custom logo of your company that could be given away as promotional goodies, prizes at company parties, etc. Does Spyderco still offer that; if so, how do I go about commencing a project such as this?
