First off - skcusloa, How do we know you didn't break this knife? You're jumping up and down about DEFECTIVE. It could be you! You haven't given us any clues about what you think defective really means.

Secondly - screaming on this forum isn't going to get you much sympathty, WE LIKE SPYDERCO ...

I guess I don't understand the point. This all seems quite useless, since there is no real subject.

I for one will not waste my time on something as senseless as a thread with nothing to talk about.

tell me what method you use to cut. Maybe my cigars are just cheapo's, or I'm not doing it right. I've tried cutting the perimeter first, then progressively in....makes a huge mess. I've also tried straight cuts, back and forth motion....also quite a mess. - goofs-up the tip, unravels, etc.

For example, if you were cutting some tape on a box with a plain edge knife, normally you would use the tip of the blade to actually do the cutting. I saw in a Spyderco catalog about 2 yrs ago, a knife that you could order with a stamped-out custom logo of your company that could be given away as promotional goodies, prizes at company parties, etc. Does Spyderco still offer that; if so, how do I go about commencing a project such as this?
