That's the reason I have a POS Chinese knockoff with me all the time. It's for when people want to borrow my knife. I lend the knockoff, it's hair popping sharp too and easy to get back when NKP dull it. You and me brother! I learned years ago when I started buying nicer knives, that everyone was a...

I've been carrying my Carbon Caly 3 since I got it 3 or 4 weeks ago. I carried my Foilage greeg Endura 4 for the last two years, mixed in with a few other brands. I found myself carrying the E4 a lot last week instead of the Caly 3 because the E4 is just such a Great knife. Three years ago, I wouldn...

Yep, I use my thumb in the spydie hole and give it the "thumbs up" instead
of flicking my wrist. Most people think I'm using an auto because there's
hardly any wrist movement. I think the hole works better then a stud.

Don't know if it's coincidence, but Benchmade did just the opposite. When I first started collecting, they recommended MilTec and then later switched to Tuff Glide. I still use both. I buy Hoppes #9 by the quart since I go through so much cleaning my firearms, but I've never used it for knife lube. ...

a year, and now I've been carrying my Caly Carbon for the last
2 weeks since I got it.

Thanks again all. I'm really liking the deep carry aspect of this
knife. You really have to look hard to see it being carried. Perfect!

WooHoo!! New arrival

I ordered this one just a few days ago, and it just got delivered by the man in Brown. I can't believe it's taken me so long to actually buy this knife, especially since I've wanted one for a long long time. This one just feels awesome, the blade alignment is perfectly centered, and the finish is fl...

I had a "found" knife returned to me that I did not even know I had "lost"! Back in '97 or '98, I had a Delica (no Gen #, this was before they made any remakes). I had shown it to a coworker/friend while at his house. Well, one day he walks up and hands me my "lost&qu...

Actually I just told my story in the "what was your first" Thread. To tell the short part of the story, I bought a fully serrated Delica in about 1994 or so. Had it a few weeks and lost it. Went back that afternoon and bought another. About 6 or so weeks later my co workers found it at the...

I did the paint stripper approach on my Endura right after I got it....probably 2 years ago. I didn't seal it or do anything special. It's never rusted and looks just like it did the day I finished it. Other then some scuffing that I could easily get out. Regards Sonny http://i34.photobucket.com/alb...

My first was a Delica full serrated blade. I read a review about it in one of my handgun rags. I went out and bought one. It was the most expensive Knife I had ever bought at the time, probably around 1994 and I paid around 40 dollars for it from a local knife shop. I started using it as my EDC, and...

lets hope :spyder: starts to add a sticker on their blades with the country of origin like Cold steel machetes, and just engraves the bug on the blade. A little white spirit and it's gone... :D Now that sounds like a good idea. I'd rather it say nothing on the blade. I know that most countries arou...

I guess maybe I'm old school, but I'm more comfortable with the blade saying Seiki-japan then I am Taiwan. Especially if I'm spending 195 and up for a knife. Right or wrong Taiwan on the blade does nothing for me. I was going to buy a Sage but the Taiwan on the blade turned me off, so I bought a Cal...

My EDC is for the most part my Endura 4. I use it for everything. Well at least everything that is Knife appropriate, as in no prybar, screwdriver, and stuff like that. I use it for opening boxes, cutting strapping, slicing apples, slicing onions, and opening a variety of other "openables"...

I liked it, but as some others have said, it was too wide for me to carry it comfortably. I carry a BM 710 quite a bit, and it's a fairly big knife, but feels like a pen knife in the pocket compare to the D'allara.

If your ECTS is Brass when you remove it, it's probably ok.....but still check for corrosion on the plug. You might have a look at the TPS plug as well. I'd just about bet 100% that it's one of those 2 sensors, or their electrical plugs.
