Re: Manix 2 Back Lock – I Got Mine!
Loving the lack of metal jimping around the finger grip area! This is a good thing. Looks great.

Re: What the ****? A Back Lock Manix?
I have a Manix 1 and the lockback on that is obscenely strong and beefy. I'd wager it is stronger than the Manix 2 in testing.
I will be keeping a close eye on prices for the Manix 2 lockback. It's a knife I really want.

Re: Better ergos - manix 2 vs GB?
I recently picked up a CF S90V Manix 2 and I have to say the jimping on this knife is out of hand. This knife is going to cause hot spots and blisters with all that jimping around the palm and fingers. I am very puzzled why this was deemed necessary or even desirable? I'd held a GB and found that mo...

Re: Spyderco prices in Europe exploded !
Curious what information you have that suggests low cost flights are going to be introduced to the USA?

Re: Spyderco prices in Europe exploded !
I have a suggestion. All chip in on the cost for a flight from Manchester UK to a knife friendly state as well as the cost of my train fare to the airport etc. Organise a group buy of knives from a US retailer and have them sent to my hotel room. I will collect and them post when I get back. Heck, I...

Re: Spyderco prices in Europe exploded !
I don't post very often on here these days. However, the price rises we have seen in Europe are not sustainable. There has been much finger pointing and suggestions as to the reasons and causes. One thing stands out above all others though. Spyderco knives just went up in price in Europe so much. Th...

From my point of view, CE have the serrations in the worst possible place. The place on the knife I like to use for power cuts. So if I am going to use the knife for work on wood or similar, its greatly limiting. Then there is blade size, on most blades going CE ends up giving me not enough serratio...

Plain edge holding with H1 is nothing special. Serrated is fantastic. Spyderco just disco'd the serrated Military. Probably as the fully serrated Mil is not as popular. I have one and its a great knife. Its a dead horse guys. It would be very expensive (H1 milly) and an incredibly niche market item....

Of course, if it was a UKPK FRN then the blade shape would have to be decided ... I'd prefer FFG drop-point but if it had to be hollow-ground then that would be fine - just make it PE ;) To be fair, the blade shape would be best as a scaled down version of the Mule IMHO. I see it as the Spyderco bl...

Folder, heck yes. Budget knife, yes. Native, Delica or caly make a lot of sense if you are thinking a locking knife. UKPK Lightweight otherwise, though I am not sure if that would be a Japanese made knife? If its going to go in the UKPK G10 handled knife, which currently runs over £100 ($160 US) in ...

Could be, or it could be that he is just an average Joe-non-knife-nut that found himself with a really nice knife and never realized that it had a problem until today which was the first time he stressed the blade in a closing direction? could be that this all happened on a weekend and he stumbled ...

to me, the Sebenza is the father frame lock knife. If the knife has no outerscale covering the handle AND lockbar like a liner lock, then its not the liner doing the locking. Its the framebar, part of the frame. Hence framelock. Also its important to me that a framelock has the framelock lock bar at...
