2 years of training in American Jiu jitsu, 2 years of Judo (green belt in both) competed in multiple submission grappling tournaments in Ohio and Kentucky with pretty good success...started traing in MMA about 6 months ago, but no plans on competing...Im a police officer and my department wouldnt ...

Thanks for replying...I was thinking something a little heavier duty designed specificly for Police/Military...kinda like the way you designed the Military/Paramilitary for the duties that they will encounter..I would love to see a fixed blade designed for similar purposes...

Im not sure what you mean by "they dont fit that image"...I know I can get tactical fixed blades other places, but if given the choice, I'd chose Spyderco...We're just throwing ideas out there...

I really like the design of the Street Beat but agree that it is WAY too small. I think that this knife has to have full tang, a non-reflective black blade, possibly either D-2, 154CM or S30V steel and be made a combo edge with either a drop point or a tanto style blade design...I also like the idea ...

I think the lack of a high end tactical fixed blade leaves a hole in an otherwise perfect line-up. Spyderco added Automatics to the line -up and did a great job. (I have both) I hope to see this hole filled soon to.

I would love to see Spyderco create a fixed blade geared toward Police/Military/SWAT...something with a black blade 4.5 to 5 inches, G-10 scales and possibly compatible with a Molle sheath. I'm an avid Spyderco user but theres nothing like this that I can carry on duty. Any chance on adding ...
