SpydeRench question for the Spydeholics?

I looked all over for a spyderench and finally located an on-line store that had it in stock. While I was searching around for it, a salesperson at one of the on-line knife shops told me that Spyderco was redesigning the spyderench and that's why no one currently had it available for sale. Any truth ...

Come on all you Spyderco MBC fans! Here's our chance to get levels 1-4 of MBC knife training in August, back to back. I'm sure M. Janich and Spyderco would work on getting us a good deal, too. We all talk about how important knife training is and now its time to walk the walk. Anyone else interested ...

Mr. Janich,
Any chance on offering the Level 3 and 4 MBC classes the next days after the Level 1 and 2 classes in August? I will be traveling a long distance from Hawaii in order to take the Level 1-2 classes and it would be great to get 3-4 right after. Much more cost effective. I think there ...

Lodging in Golden?

I will be attending the August MBC seminar and was wondering if there are any nice hotels/motels in the Golden area or close by? It would be great to just walk over to SFO from a nearby hotel. Any luck? Thanks for your response.

Sal, what's the latest news on the MBC shirts? Will they be available when I'm in Golden for the MBC August seminar? Would definitely buy some.

Mike J.,
Thanks for the quick reply. I guess the Chinook stays home, with the Gunting and Delica making the trip with me. Looking forward to your seminar, as I've heard great things about it.

Blade length legality in CO?

I will be in Colorado for the MBC seminar in August. Just wanted to know what is the legal blade limit for folders, if there is one? My home state has no limit on fixed or folders, as long as it isn't double edged. Thanks for the info.

Count me in for a couple of shirts, especially if they are short/long sleeve t-shirts offered in blue and black. I could then wear it to work and make my co-workers jealous. I like Driscoll's idea of having all the MBC knives on the back of the shirt in a circle. In the circle itself can be Bram's ...

Sorry dude, I'm not really sure of the date on that issue of Shotgun News. For some reason "May '01" pops into my head at the moment. It was on the newstand at Borders when I read it yesterday. Does any of the Gunting Cult Members know exactly?

Article on Gunting in latest Shotgun News

I just read a great article on the Gunting, by Massad Ayoob, in the latest issue of Shotgun News. The Gunting was one of three knives that he liked for 2001. Massad even mentioned the instructional videotapes and seminars offered by Bram. The recent Tactical Knives article on the Gunting failed to ...

Fannin,
Glad you like your new gunting as much as I like mine. In my opinion, this is the best self-defense tool/knife on the market. I wonder if Spyderco is selling the black spoon clip for those who want to replace the shiny, silver clip, like I have on my gunting. Sal, any info on availability ...

Seminar in August?

I read a recent post that there might be a Mike Janich seminar in August at Spyderco. Can someone "in the know" confirm the exact date if there is going to be one during that month. I might be in Colorado during August and would like to attend the seminar if it is during the time I am there. Thanks.
