The last spyderco I bought was a Caly Jr ZDP about 3 years ago and it has been my edc almost everyday since. Well the lightweight manix came in today. Wow! I love the feel of this thing. So light, yet so solid. I have a few dozen spydies-- millies, persians, you name it, but as far as an edc a light...

I will say that the one that I have is like a laser. It cuts like nothing else I own... This. After making it my edc for 2 years--never sharpening then sending it to Golden for a $5 touch up I can say it is my favorite spydie. I have more glamorous Spydercos in my collection, but this is the one I ...

I say sell. If it is just sitting in a drawer not getting used what is the point. I sold off a good bit of my collection including some rare ones because they were not getting used. I figured pass them on to someone who will hopefully use and enjoy them.

I gave my dad a C39 micarta dyad for fathers day. He loves it and tells me he uses it everyday. Its a great feeling giving someone a quality knife that gets put to use.

I just got a Ti Tyrade in the mail Friday. It is only my second Kershaw-first was a Leek I was less than impressed with. Despite my inclination toward smaller, lighter knives with 3" blades I really like the Tyrade. I am sure it will see more carry time when the weather gets cooler and I wear m...

Local Microbrews

In my area we have a great microbrewery called Abita. Recently I have been finding some other great American microbrews that with a little searching I can find locally such as Avery Brewing (Colorado) and Bear Republic (California). So what breweries are in your area that I should seek out? There is...

I didn't get the persian even though it was a really good price because I bought one from them about a year and a half ago and it w...

I have that same S&M Gun stock and it is a great knife. I love to carry it in the bottom of my pocket as a second knife. The fit and finish on it is amazing, I just wish it came as sharp from the factory as my spydies.
