Re: Would you buy a Catcherman 2?

Yes! I would get one for each of my 3 boys. They all love to fish.

Re: 2021 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!

Username: Detdaddy Knife: C186TI Slysz Bowie Folder I carry and use numerous Spyderco knives every day, and throughout the year. The one I carry and love the most is the Slysz Bowie. I love everything about this knife --the comfy titanium handle, Chris Reeve integral lock, CTS-XHP steel, wire clip, ...

https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/800x600q90/922/jgIhzF.jpg This summer we took our family vacation in Arizona. I decided to take my Slysz Bowie with me, to photograph in this beautiful state. I must have taken over 50 photographs with it at the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and on mountain trails. Overal...

Re: Ronin 2 Impressions

Great review Vivi. A friend on mine got this and I loved it. I often carry a Yojimbo, and I have a trainer I use to, well, train. The Ronin felt like the Yojimbo, but with his big brother's blade. I think it's mostly viewed as a SD knife. But I would use it as EDC, and use it as you have. I'm puttin...

Re: Tighe Stick Question

I handled one at Blade Show, and I didn't want to put it down. Beautiful knife with a wicked blade. It is big, but felt very solid and not too heavy. The grinds on the blade, and the handle, are incredible to look at. Plus, I'm a huge titanium and Chris Reeve Integral Lock fan. Definately more of a ...

Calendar Submission 1280x960.jpg Paramilitary 2 was with me when the family and I were mountain biking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We came across this tree that was all knotty and really cool looking. So what does one do when we see a photo opportunity while enjoying nature? I went back a...

Re: Which knife for my son?

Congrats! What an awesome thing! When my boys were 6-8ish, I got them the wooden Dragonfly and the plastic glow in the dark Delicas. . We had fun putting them together, and it taught them about how a knife is made and how the locks work. The wooden ones were nice because the kids decorated the handl...

Re: Would you buy a G10 Centofante 3 or 4 sprint?

I would order a 4 the day it is released... I really would not care about the color or steel. I'm not on ebay much, but when I am, Centofante 4 is a search I've been doing for probably 2 years.

Re: Quintessential Small Spydie?

I agree the Dragonfly2 is a great small knife. However, I would really encourage you to check out a Cricket. It's one of the handiest, useful blades I've ever owned. Great for cutting coupons, clam packs, opening boxes, and even cutting thick cardboard. Very thin and light, but comfortable in my han...

Re: Nameless Spyderco Knives.

I prefer the nameless blades. Just a cleaner look. I also thinks it makes it look more professional, or higher quality. To me, putting name on blade seems cheesy.. And on a related topic, I love that Spyderco actually refers to each knife by a name, ie, Dodo, Yojimbo, Manix, etc, instead of 710, 515...

Re: Mantra Bearing Race

I had the exact same issue with my brown Southard flipper. I could never get it to flip open completely, without flicking it downward with my wrist. I got to the point I was going to sell it. But I hated to because I love the ergonomics of the knife. So recently I took mine apart and found the washe...

Re: Yojimdo2

This is one of my favorites! Excellent ergonomics, both normal and reverse grip. I have used it for edc, and I like knowing I have a great sd knife if needed. I found a trainer for it from Keen knives that i use in Kali class. The tip is much improved. My only (minor) critique is the handle could be...

I dunno... I'd like to see a choil like the Byrd Meadowlark, plus a deep carry wire clip. Keep the full flat grind, too.
