Re: Para3 blade stock

I like the Para 3's blade stock. It cuts great. I have 2 Para 3's, both with G10 handles. Its blade spine thickness would be a problem IF the blade were narrow; but it's not narrow, it's a wide blade. As wide as the Military's and the PM2's blades. The blade is just shorter in length. For the lengt...

We need that. I would buy several.
Besides, it will give more options to those who live in areas with blade limits.

Re: Which sharpening system for convex edge?

I'm very happy with my Worksharp. I don't do my really nice (custom) knives with it--I tend to send those out for hand sharpening by a professional. But I use it on all my EDC type blades, including all my spyderco folders. I've never had any issues with it. The speed is variable, so you can run it...

Worksharp?
Yes. Worksharp.
Since it powertool, I'm a bit concerned with too much heat that might ruin the temper. Hope it's not the case.

Which sharpening system for convex edge?

Triangle sharpmaker has been my most used system so far. Now I want to put convex edges on my knives and feel vexed as to where to start. :( I feel Military or Para3 would benefit so much more out of convex edge. I'm looking at Work sharp Ken Onion version at the moment. Any tips and suggestions wil...

Sprint lil Lim in zdp189

I was a bit worried when I first saw lil lum photo due to its size. It seemed like it hardly had enough handle to provide a secure grip. Nonetheless, I bought one since I'm a Lum fan. when I held it in my hand and tried different grips, I was sure it will become one of my favorites. Despite its smal...

Re: Any chance of sprint run Standard?

The one I saw for the first time was in G10 handle the same construction as the old and rare G10 police model. It looded perfect and just the right size for me. I myself love delica models, but after I handled the recent sprint G10 Worker, I'm convinced the G10 Standard with full flat grind blade wo...

Any chance of sprint run Standard?

Hi, I'm not sure if there is anyone who remembers the existence of the spyderco Standard model. If my memory serves right it was #05 model. And It was also the first spyderco I fell in love with but could not afford to buy. I was a student and never had enough money to get one... If you are wonderin...

Re: A shorter Paramilitary

If a person wanted a smaller knife, what is wrong with the Sage series? Because they're worlds apart in shape, they're different knives... I'm all for a shorter version - I find I only use 3" blades now. I used to like 3.5", but now I carry a 3" and 4". Just feels too big and sm...
