When I saw the original picture, I thought I could pass. Now that I have seen this one, it has changed my mind. I don't know what it was about the first pictures, but these latest pics make it much more tempting.

As far as steels go, I don't have a preference. I just want another Mule so i can do some comparison chopping. For these early runs, I would think that some steels that are relativily easy to get ahold of would be best. This would give some lead time for Sal to work towards getting more exotic steel...

Could you order the Spyderco parts kit for the Endura to get screws for attachment, if they are the same size? It would limit the width of the handle you could make though.

Now thinking with a clear head

I have to say, that this has been something I had been looking forward to for the past several months (like a lot of other people). Late last night was the first time I had a chance to check the forums and saw that the Mule was available and already sold out, I have to say I panicked. Today, I got h...

I don't often post on here. Seems that often someone has beaten me to the punch or I just generally agree with the general consensus. I am sure many of you are in the same boat as me about the mule team. Looking forward to this, checking two or three times a day, and waiting. The first round is rele...

I have the waved E4 as well. I also have an Emerson CQC-14. That is the new snubby with the wave. I keep thinking about doing a comparison of the two in order to show by preference, but it seems like the summer is getting away from me. Long story short, I really like them both. The Spyderco was perf...

The fact is he was looking for a knife that would be legal in almost any jurisdiction. While fixed blades may be legal in some jurisdictions, they are not legal in all jurisdictions. As far as my example, it holds true in Missouri.

Some have suggested fixed blade knives, and I believe those should not be considered. Knife laws often do not make sense, and locally I could get in more trouble for carrying a fixed blade with a two inch blade compared to a three inch folding knife.

NRA Convention

Does Spyderco have any plans for attending the NRA convention in St Louis next month? I looked over the list of vendors and did not see them. I was really hoping to see them there with knives that I don't get to regularly see in the local stores.

Peeping Tom.

It's the lead singer from Faith No More with a different guest artist on each song. Mostly people he has always wanted to create music with.

I have gone through a few flashlights, and for me I see some value in their lights. I have one of their nitrolon models that I keep in the car (their most inexpensive model). That is just my flashlight for general use. With my house gun I keep a Blackhawk Gladius. As far as comparing Surefires to ot...

I did not mean to sound as if I was put off when I made my comment about waiting three weeks for a knife. I knew it would take a little while to get the knife because I was not expecting him to put the order in right away. I meant it more as I did not mind waiting a little while for a knife. to supp...

I try to keep most of my purchases local. I will look around the internet and get information from forums, but when it comes to buying I try to support the local guy. We don't have a local knife store anymore. The one in town closed down about a year ago and does all his business at gun shows. I wil...

yeah, snuffaluff, the sequels were on the xbox I believe. What I really liked about it was that I could play it with my son who was 5 at the time. Even though it was a FPS, it was not too bloody for him.

What I have not seen is the Timesplitters series. The first one was a launch title for the Playstation 2. Games were fast on it and it had tons of different games to play on it.

Here is another way to look at it... How expensive would it be to grind away the serrations as opposed to buying a new knife? It would be a shame to put the money into the knife if for just a little more you could add another to the collection.

Generations of Delica and Endura

I know the current Generation is the fourth. I can tell the third generation by the pocket clip. Would someone mind explaining the difference between the first and second generations?
