There is a Dyad Salt in the works. Don't have an ETA, though. That is right, but I think it will be ‘a bit smaller than the old C44’ according to Sal. I am looking forward to de :spyder: Dyad Salt, but the greedy person that I am, I would also like a smaller version (in VG-10 or in H-1) to take to ...

Who likes a new FRN Dyad Jr.
Sorry for just another ‘any interest for a …’ thread, but would anyone be interested in a :spyder: FRN Dyad Jr.? A sprint run maybe? In FRN, because is it lightweight, inexpensive and it comes in great colours: bright orange or yellow. Or what about one side (SE) in a bright colour and the other sid...

Making some of these knives in Japan is cheaper then you could do here in the US. I really doubt that! China, now thats a different pot steel of a story :) . Junk Junk Junk. Really doubt that also! The reason for this is, that I do not like peanutbutter all that much. Honey, now that is a diffirent ...

If i were to be in Japan,i wonder if it would be hard to find a Spydie there,if i didnt know exactly where to look for one. OK-YESS in Tokyo is a great place to start. It is in Ueno, in walking distance from Ueno Station which you can reach with the Ginza and Hibiya lines. Another great place is To...

Orange or white?
To be more useful, a knife that small benefits from a SE. On the other hand, I think that PE looks a bit nicer and so does the orange FRN in my opinion. So I am going to buy an orange one and use it together with my black :spyder: SE Ladybug 3.

Spyderco's with non-knife implements
At the Amsterdam Mini-meet I remember Sal was (shortly) talking about future :spyder: 's with other implements then knives, and asked us to give it a thought. Personally I was thinking about a Dyad-like knife with one sharpened blade (PE or SE) and one ‘blade’ like an awl or reamer like one the Vict...

My father (63) carries a Victorinox Sportsman for about 22 years now. The red handles fell of and he just puts them back on with superglue. He refused when I offered him to replace them with new ones. The lanyard hole whore out, but he really does not care about it all that much. He would neve...
