More Chinese Spydies? For me personally the answer to that question is somewhere between yes and no. I bought a Tenacious when it came out and was impressed by the quality given it's low price. Sure there were small imperfections if you wanted to find some but they were totally acceptable. When I go...

Rob, how do the colors in the picture compare to how it looks directly to your eye? Thanks! Donut, that depends where I look at it. If I take the knife outside on a sunny day like the one I took the pics, the colours are very close to my picture. Indoors they look duller and not so vibrant. IMO the...

Actually it's the other way round :) I had to reduce the saturation a little bit as I was shooting in bright sunlight with my light-tent. The bright light made the colors look really vibrant and my camera also tends to over-saturate a bit when shooting at good weather... The interesting thing is tha...

I dont understand who is their primary 'target' for these 'products' - me as an afi, I would never want to carry something like this, as its not the real thing, not only legal wise, but more important, performance wise. We can do one thing, to avoid buying this stuff and educate all eventual buyers...

The screws aint the same, original has visible torx heads, the fake one has more of an hex, even I think those will be chinese torx heads as well. The frame bar goes too close the lanyard hole on the fake, I doubt the original looks like these. Ah, thanks for pointing out the differences! Very well...

I myself asked for a product guide in December and I waited till February before I asked again. Unfortunately I received no product guide from Spyderco so far :o Same problem here :( I've never received any catalog I requested from the website. IIRC the first catalog I requested from Spyderco onlin...

...doing it on a double bolstered knife with arced bolsters would require the scales be put in place before the bolsters at the time the knife is being assembled as there would be no way to slide the scales under the angled edge of the bolsters. That's what I was thinking too. In one of the picture...

I've also heard of the discontinued Spydercard being used as one. Would be difficult, as this model had no clip :D I think most people who want to use a Spyderco as a money clip indeed decide on the Cricket. Personally, I am not too fond of money clips as the bills always seem to look crumpled but ...

Thanks Rob, i know what dovetailing is in drawers and cabinetry but i am at a loss on knives...sorry  i didn't really look at how it was held in place to the rest of the knife either. Strange... actually I answered in this thread yesterday with a little drawing of what I meant but somehow...
