I have been politicking. Two of candidates I endorsed won.
I was expecting a D'allara Droppoint handmade and signed by the owner of Spyderco.
The D'allara Droppoint and the D'allara Rescue best knives for general carry, especially bicycle touring and camping. Honorable mention to the CoPilot ...

burp date party, yea!
Masi Gran Corsa is a road race bike. I have a tourer. Three in front and eight in rear and granny gears to climb flag poles. Superficial look it may look like a road race bike, drop handlebars, but closer look it is more akin to mountain bike. It has drop bars but wider across the top And it has the ...

Off topic of off color on my birth date!
Happy birthday thanks for wishing me a happy birth date anniversary. I report that I am up early because it's my birthday, and it's voting day. I really don't like the years when voting day is on the anniversary of my birth. There have been terrible crimes committed then. I have not been here for ...

D'Allara Salts
I would have the D'Allara Droppoint and Rescue as Salts; they along with the Ladybug spearpoint (around neck with keys and Leatherman Squirt) and the Ladybug Rescue (in emergency kit) serrated are what I carry daily. I designed a shoulder bag with four pockets to carry the D'Allaras, a flashlight ...

I've made more changes
I still carry the 2 DAllara's, sheepfoot and drop point, in my shoulder bag with Leatherman wave, though sometimes I carry the drop point in pocket along with mixed edge Ladybug. In my emergency kit, small otter box, I include a sheepfoot Ladybug. The Co-Pilot is now part of my medic's field kit.

Perfect knives
I have to amend my previous post. I don't carry the Delica; it does not feel comfortable in my hands. The D'Allaras fit perfectly, comfortably. Strangely the Ladybug fits comfortably. I will keep the Delica at home. I like its design except for how the hand fits my hands. It is not the size of the ...

may be a tongue in cheek proposal but
why not make a knife, non-locking, with a separate lock to prevent it from folding and severing several fingers (i like assonance). It would not be a locking knife, but would have an easily attached lock for the protection of the user.

right to bear arms doesn't cover knives? how about
swords and spears, are they covered?
In a confrontation I dont think of using knives; I wasn't trained to fight with knives. I am an incompetent with knives as weapons. A cane is a better weapon for defense. I am a trained stick fighter.
