When I got my 2nd rescue I was playing around, of course, and had one in each hand. I was swinging both around in front of the mirror trying to scare myself or somthing and I hooked my right arm with the new (sharp) spide. Wow, I can see into my arm! No blood for 2-3 minutes! Then lots of blood. Rea...

Thanks for all the suggestions. I did get a change to look at a SS Endura PE. I have a couple of questions. 1) How slippery is the SS handle? 2) Is the tip stronger on the endura than the delica? 3) What is an Endura II vs I? I have looked at the Native. I am a bit conserned that the law may see tha...

Help me pick a new knife
I had decided that I want a new knife. I have been carrying a seraded Spyderco Rescue for 6 years. The rescue is a good knife, but maybe it is time to try someting different. I have though about a plain edge rescue, but it would be nice to have a tip once in a while. 1) I have decided that I want a ...

I would like a plain edge rescue. I see that they are now available. Personally, I am not a huge fan of the serated blade. I does a very poor job of cutting small rope, it is more difficult to sharpen IMO, and I have found that a sharp plain edge cuts large rope (5/16 and bigger) faster and cleaner ...

Straight edge Rescue
I love my rescue, but I am not a fan of serations. Is a straight edge Rescue available. I have thought of grinding off the teeth, but I am suspect that that would end badly. Thanks
