My favorite has to be my stainless, serrated Co-Pilot.This knife is perfect for me-- not big and scary, yet handles all jobs well.In fact I like it so much my other Spydies lie unused in my gun safe.

Jess Horn Baby--Why No Model # ?

I recently ordered a Jess Horn Baby from the Spyderco Factory Outlet.I am very pleased with the knife and I'm glad I added it to my Spyderco collection. One question-- the box does not indicate a model #-- nor is it listed anywhere in the 2001 catalog. Is there a reason why this is so? What Is The Significance Of USA Earth?

I recently bought a C24 Black Hawk.On the right side of the blade it is stamped" Golden, Colorado. USA Earth." I am puzzled-- anyone know why this knife is stamped that way? Is there some reason for using this term?

thank you for the feedback Paul and Obi-Wan. I'll take your advise and apply a bit of mineral oil to the scales. I have learned that this knife was first produced in 1991 so my guess is that it's been in the box for quite some time.
