Wow I think that would be just looking for trouble. I would want a very hard half stop with that one if it ever came out. Could you elaborate on this? I don't think I understand what you mean. I thought it might be safer than a slippie with a normal tip since the hawkbill shape encourages the user ...

Slipjoint Hawkbill anyone?

Did a quick search and didn't see anything about this. What does everyone think about a(n) Urban/ UKPK with a hawkbill blade?

Sorry if this has been done before.

That's the problem with having impulse control. ;) When you want something for a long time, anticipation builds it up in your mind until reality just can't compete. Your mind convinces itself that the world will be a better place, the air will be cleaner and the sun will be brighter, you'll be more...

Ever want a knife for a long time and end up not liking it?

That's how I feel about my CF BG42 Millie. I've been wanting one for over a year and a half now. I've played with them in stores numerous times and each time I wanted one more after playing with them. I just recently snagged one and for the life of me, I just can't get myself to like it very much. I...

It doesn't matter too much for me either way except for knives with weak detents. I wouldn't want a Para tip up.

Personally I think it's just too small to do any good for me. I just have such large hands that it's almost impossible for me to get good use out of a regular ladybug without a lanyard and making very sure that I don't slip off the small hole and slice my finger open. I personally want to stay away...

I have the 14 and I love it. The chisel grind is fine with me and keeps things different with my rotation, though I prefer the normal V-grind edge generally. The G-10 is grippier than Spydies in general. I recently held a 12 and was pretty disappointed. The cut out on the frame lock seemed paper thi...

Hi Kaizen, My biggest point of disagreement with him is diet...I'm not against eating more healthfully...what I totally disagree with him on is telling people they should go on his one-size-fits-all diet...I know from personal experience and from that of some of my family, that there are some peopl...

I hate to say it but i think you made a good choice for it`s a lot harder right now to get a ZDP Caly then a para for which like you say it`s still in production which the Caly ZDP is not  Yep, I highly doubt they'll ever get rid of the Para in one form or another, but who knows when or if th...

I very recently sold my Para, mostly because I just bought a Hinderer XM-18 and the price started to freak me out. I was already down to my last 2 Spydies and it came down to the ZDP Caly 3 and the Para. I figure the Para would be easier to find when I eventually buy another one (and I absolutely wi...

Over the years I've read quite a lot of different books and programs that would fall under the category of "self improvement/personal growth, etc". I've read 2 of Tony Robbins books and have listened to some of his audio stuff. I've also studied NLP for some years now. One of the things I ...

It's going to be between the CF Millies, the Para and the ZDP Caly 3. But with Spyderco constantly coming out with new stuff, I'm just not sure it if I can continue to commit too much emotion to any one model anymore :D .

RIOT, I moved out several years ago. It's really not as bad as it sounds, my ego got me in a lot of trouble. I didn't move out because of the crime either. People didn't mess with me much when I stopped acting stupid. What a coincidence. Once I got my mind wrapped around the idea that I was willing...

I was kinda surprised that the Delica has more fans over the Caly 3, but now that I think about it, it is a classic. I've played with both and own the CF/ZDP Caly 3. I vote for either Caly 3 over the G-10 Delica. The G-10 Delica is VERY nice though.
