Re: Odd discussion: Vampires

Well, the same people who will argue to the point of tears that angels and demons can exist and can even possess people, will tell you vampires cannot. Makes complete, rational sense to me.

Re: Glock Field Knife 81 Tupperware knife?

I like this knife, but the etool is junk. Used one I bought when I was in the Marines and after one week in the field, I went back to the issued etool. Tool wouldn't stay in the locked position in use. The round handle spins in your grip and thats a horrible idea with a telescoping handle. The saw w...

Re: Killer Robots: Views?

I think it's time we all learn to get along. Then again, gotta feed the multi billion dollar a year war machine. No wars to fight, groups like Lockheed Martin have nobody to sell jets, bombs, and aircraft carriers to. We already let people kill others in emotionally detached ways with drones.

All you complaining about the "Start" button....haven't known about "Classic Shell", the add on for Windows that gives you that back? :confused: I've been using it the last couple years myself. http://www.classicshell.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

History Channel: "Forged in Fire" Anyone Else Watching??

Caught a marathon this morning and I'm hooked. It's like "Chopped" with bladesmiths of varying degrees of experience competing to make different edged weapon types.

I find if I start to get the urge to buy a knife, I can buy some bullets, shoot them and be over it.

Re: Pocket Pistols

I find I'm carrying my Ruger LCR .22 magnum more lately. Loaded with Gold Dots. Comfortable in its Thies brand holster, 100% reliable after 500 rounds so far, lightweight, and I can empty it in around 3 seconds into a 5" group from 10 feet away.

Re: Fake eggs from China

Google Robbie Dalton Ranger otf Vs Microtech Halo, or Microtech OSS copy of Mikov to name two. If we want to split hairs over "copying" designs. We can all be calm and have an intellectual discussion.

Re: Fake eggs from China

I shared my knife recently here. I also have a video of it on YouTube. Look for "Microtech halo titanium carbon fiber chinese" there and again most Apple products are made in China, but you won't see people admit the double standard in putting down other Chinese made products while their i...

Re: Fake eggs from China

There are actually many better quality products being made in China these days. Sure, many big box stores here sell inferior quality goods from China, but that does not mean all Chinese made goods are low quality. Apple products anyone? My newest switchblade which is a high quality replica of a cust...

Like I told my mother a while back when she shared a forwarded email about how Einstein supposedly once argued with one of his professors about the existence of God, please do your research. This is old news and a hoax from several years ago.

I would invest most of it and travel. Live off the equivalent amount of interest to about $6,000 a month.
