Topic: What's your Spyderco beater knife?

I use a Spyderco worker bought in 1998 for beater. I carry it in my lawn mowing jeans. It really comes in handy when the string trimmer jams up. Although I think of it as a beater, I don't abuse it and I keep it oiled and polished. I keep it in my pocket rather than use the clip because I don't want ...

The problem with loaning knives and tools is not that they don't come back it's the condition they they return in after being used to pound, pry and cut nails with.
As far as OP buying a nother knife, It's always a good time to buy another knife. Just hang on to them so the collection grows.

I have never lost a Spyderco mainly because I DON'T LOAN KNIVES, TOOLS, OR GUNS and I really never have trusted the clips on knives to hold.I always carry in the pocket of my Levis.I like the clip because it gives extra gripping power to the knife handle. Also knives work better in a self defense mo...

I have all of my Delicas back to the 1st one with the moulded in clip and I always like the upgrades. The latest ffg in the ZDP 189 steel is the best so far.I really like the ZDP 189 steel it stays super sharp for a lot longer than most of the other types of steel that I have.

I'm great fan of Omega watches. When I got my first full time job in 1958 I purchased an Omega Seamaster stainless with 14kt bezel for 125.00 and I still wear it and it keeps perfect time since I had it cleaned and oiled. In 1983 I purchased an Omega Constellation stainless and 18kt bezel and trim. ...

It has loosened up a lot and flips open with much better snap now. Another thing that was causing the tight opening was too much tension from the lock. I took it apart and pushed the the lock out from the handle a little bit and it relieved the pressure enough that it doesn't lock up so tight now. M...

Brad Southard C156GPBN Flipper

I've just purchased A Southard Flipper and really like the knife. I think the blade shape is one of the best I've seen and I really like the construction of the knife and the colors of the G-10 handle slab along with the tumbled finish on the titanium liners and lock. I think it would be useful to h...

Gayle Bradley AIR

I just recently purchased the Gayle Bradley Air for my Spydie collection and I really love this little knife. I would like to have a larger version also. I was wondering about the little pin that rides in a channel near the pivot point of the blade it looks like it has a purpose but,I wasn't sure wh...

All mine. I don't mess with other folk knives.I might look at them and admire them but, I try not to get too close to the edge.

I recently purchased a Russian Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine.Today I decided to clean it up and get it ready to go to the range and fire it. I learned years ago one that of the best cleaning tools is a Popcycle stick. I trim the edge with my Dragonfly ZDP 189 to nice sharp wedge shape with a sharp bevel ...

I think Sprint runs are made and finished mostly by hand. Imperfections will make your knife a one of a kind and sets it apart from factory run cookie cutter type knives that tend to be clones of each other and any imperfections found are most likely defects. I personally like to see these little ha...

This one is smooth into the open position but the faster it opens the harder it is to unlock. I have 4 of these and everything looks pretty much the same between the knives. Manix 2 Sprint Run CTS-BD-30P

I recently purchased a Manix 2 Sprint run CTS-BD30P and it is sometimes very hard to close because, the ball gets stuck or something and is very hard to release. This is seems unusual to me because I have an EDC Moon Glow Manix as well as the lightweight Translucent blue model and they both are very...
