I just checked mine and it is 12 1/4" long.

However, the website also lists it as 311mm which is correct. :)

Thanks for the info Mike. Do you remember what weight leather you used? 6-7oz? Hector, I think it was 6-7 oz. The hardest part of the whole project was getting a design that fit the knife and that I liked. I went through a lot of paper patterns before I settled on this shape. It really was a fun pr...

Great looking sheath.
Can you tell me how you made the line that outlines the belt loop? Is that cut into the leather, or is it moulded in?

Thank you
Hi Hector,
The outline is cut with a stitching groover. Here's a Link to one from Tandy.

I just got a very nice call from Knife Center apologizing for the error in pricing the Chokwe. As we expected it was human error.

I cancelled my order but I probably will get it at a later date.

No hard feelings!

Quick Question

Thanks for the review. Love the Pics.

How is the thickness of the knife? I was wondering if having 2 blades would make it uncomfortable for pocket carry.
How does the thickness compare to some of the more common Spyderco's knives?

Mike
