Woodlander FB18

I just got a Hossom Woodlander FB18!! Scored this one on Ebay. (Great price!) I took my time and waited for the right knife at the right price. I have a short list of must have Spydercos and I check Ebay regularly for one of them at a good price. I love it. It certainly exceeds my expectations for a...

Love the photos and great story. Knives have come a long way.

Wonder what they'll be saying about our knives in 50 years?

The wife and I are not too much on shopping (well, except for knives) but the aquarium is definitely on our short list of things to do while we are in Tennessee.

Thanks for the tip Simple Man. I have a half day set aside to check out SMKW. I have no real knife stores where we live. I can't wait. We leave tomorrow morning.

I'll be sure to check out the Apple Farmhouse when we get there.

Mike

J Smith,
SMKW sounds like my kind of place! Some pictures from you would be fantastic.

I was afraid they were mostly geared toward the internet for sales. It sounds like a great place to visit.

Mike

Smoky Mountain Knife Works

I'm taking the family up to the Smoky Mountains next week and I thinking about going by the Smoky Mountain Knife Works while we are there. I'll be staying about 20 minutes away from the store. Is it worth going by there or should I just go to Dollywood instead? :D If you've been, how big is it? Chee...

Well I'm off to Harbor Freight for some stones and then into the shop to make some wedges.
Great idea on using the bright flashlight by the way.

Thanks Jim!

I learned:

-It is OK to buy more than one of any Spyderco knife. :D
-Picking your clothes to match the Spyderco you are going to carry that day is normal.
