I had to check my knives at the emergency room recently. I made the gaurd write down exactly what he was getting. The next time I came in I left them in the car.

I picked up a hat at my local knife shop. They had one. I broke my own rule about not buying clothing that has advertising on it. I always thought I should be paid to wear an ad. Spyderco is such a great company I wear it proudly.

I am lucky enough to have a knife shop close to where I work. They have a pretty good selection of Spydies and I get to handle before I buy. If they don't have it in stock they will make sure to order it. I get a call when it arrives. They give me a 5% discount on my purchase. While I can sometimes ...

My question is this. Can you tell a knife by the clip? And. Do you strike up a conversation with the knife carrier?

I needed a name and have never had a nickname that stuck.I come from a family that all have strange nicknames. Last name is Adams, so A then blade.

The only thing big I can pull out of my pants is my knife. I like the reaction I get at work when I bring out my Manix or waved Endura.

I have learned a lot from lurking. This is a very friendly forum. Most of my friends don't understand knives or appreciate them the way that you all do.

I got one last week. Very nice. I am not ashamed to carry it.

I think I have started to alter some of my long time standards. I have made it a policy to not buy company clothes that have their name or logo on them.
