Leftie Carbon Fiber Delica going rate?

I'm thinking if selling my Leftie CF Delica I picked up awhile back. I just can't bring myself to use it since there are only 150 of them around and i'd rather sell it and buy something I actually want to use. I traded a Caly 3 for it but i'm wondering what it's true value is. All this talk of valua...

New wheels, pics inside!

Just thought i'd share some pics of my new car I got today. It's an 06 Corolla CE that I got a great deal on. It was a leftover from last year that the dealership owner was using as his personal car for the past few weeks to get to and from work. It had 324 miles on it when I bought it. I am so pump...

They will not do it AFAIK. The old KL5 head will probably not have electronics that suit the new Cree or Seoul leds. It is a pita to open most Surefire led lights to alter them. A few people on CPF do these kinds of mods for a fee, so you might want to take a look on the custom parts of that forum....

No problems with the tip of my Caly 3, then again I don't really subject my Caly 3 to that rigorous of a life.
Looks like the victim of a drop on a hard surface.

I wonder if it is possible for SF to convert existing heads to Cree. I own an L5 and while the output is fine, I would really love the extended runtime of the Cree.

I love my Para as well. Yours looks like a very used knife and it looks good that way. Who did the clip on that? The Para seems to be the knife I see most with clip modifications, which I think definately says something for the Para II that it needs a clip redesign. Mine personally has an STR-made T...

It was super snowy today with bad roads so I packed the PE Pacfic Salt in my left front pocket as usual but also threw the SE Salt I in my jacket pocket just in case.

While safeties are a good idea from a safety standpoint, I think that safeties completely defeat the point of autos and assisted openers. Think about it, having to disengage a safety and then hitting a button easily takes just as long, if not longer than opening a knife with a spyderhole.

WOW! 2007 is truly shaping up to be a great year for Spyderco. I am especially excited for all the new H1 offerings, the Utilty knives and the big Schempp knife in particular. I think H1 is simply an amazing steel with so many good properties and i'm glad Spydrco is showcasing it in their lineup eve...

I have 5 Spydies that are SE. I have done comparison tests on different materials with an SE and a PE and i've found the only things serrations are better with are plastics, bread, and rope. Cutting cardboard with PE and SE yields rougly the same results for me. Other than that, I find the SE either...

Ok, i'm just about ready to pull the trigger on a pair, but i'd be a lot more comfortable buying something this expensive if I could find the hinge to hinge measurements to get somewhat of an idea how they will fit me. All I can find is "Small-to-Medium" for the Square wires and "Medi...

Anyone own a pair of Oakley sunglasses?

I'm thinking about taking the plunge and getting a nice pair of wire-framed Oakley's. Anyone here own a pair and care to give your input? Are they really worth the price? I'm looking at two pairs in particular: Square Wire 2.0 Spring Hinge http://oakley.com/o/o1282d A Wire http://oakley.com/o/o1245d...

Rust issues with multiple byrds, possible bad batch of steel?

I ordered a Meadowlark about 3 weeks ago, after about a week I noticed that it developed quite a few pits of rust on the blade. The knife was stored in a sack-ups knife protector with other knives having AUS-6, VG-10, S30V, 440C, ZDP-189, SGPS, and 420HC steels in a dry environment with no humidity....

I have several SE Spydercos, and through testing each i've only found a few things the SE does better than the PE for my purposes. The SE cuts nylon webbing and ropes awesomely and i'm sure they would be great on seatbelts in an unfortunate situation. SE also seems to work well on plastic ties. Othe...

Salts with no letter on the blade

I just got a PE Salt I in today and found it interesting that it had neither the Salt I lettering or H1 logo on the blade. It just has the tang stamps. Could this be from the first run of Salts or something?
