Got one like that in trade last year, no problem fixing it.

A) roughen up the back of the clip slightly with either 320 grip sandpaper or preferably a dremel and cutoff wheel.

B) using the screw holes to align the clip on the scale, scribe the clip top outline onto the scale. roughen the outlined ...

I have owned one or two of every folder Strider makes, overbuilt, brutally tough and most models are very cool, but I buy a knife to be a knife not a prybar and they feel awkwardly bulky in the pocket. They are high quality, just not for me.

How about using the Chinook I blade profile w/swedge and full flat ground. A true folding Bowie knife.
