I gotta represent here for the SS Ladybug 3. This is a super little big knife- solid lock up and lightweight.

Here is a test for those with a serrated edged knife- suspend something that weighs about 2.5 pounds up with a doubled up length of 550 paracord. Try to cut the cord with one pass of the knife. I know I can do it with my PE knife easily, but any SE knife I've ever had would make it difficult, if not ...

I think the least successful knives will be those with pink FRN handles. I just don't see the demand for these, especially the larger ones like the Delica and Endura.

Good point, cobrajoe. I was thinking more of my own knuckleheadedness and what I would likely be inclined to do more than someone else who could very likely have more presence of mind than myself. One more "danger" this presents to me would be making me want to go buy a real bali after so many years ...

The only problem I see with this is, that as a novice balisong user, it may form some bad habits (i.e. using both sides of the pen barrel for rebound techniques), and then forgetting about the sharp side when going back to using the real knife. BTW I'm absolutely getting at least a couple of these ...

Is this new, or new old stock that's been out for a while and then discontinued? I like it better than the black, but I think the orange will be awesomer.

This is a very intriguing knife, especially when seeing it in the light of a "folding SPOT" (a model I was going to get until it was discontinued). Anyway, is there any news on when these things will be available?

If you're looking for a small carbon fiber folder...and can't find a Spyderco that fits your needs.....you might wanna try BladeTech's Mouse in CF or G10 handles....I'd still go for the CF Harpy though.... :rolleyes: :p
