I remember one guy selling part of his civvy collection (more than a year ago). He told (he wrote) that he had all versions civilian had been made: plain edge aluminium no tuffram, serrated alum., plain tuffram coated alum. handled, serrated tuffram, serrated g-10. I can't remember if there has ever...

Never heard of one! There are old aluminium Civvys without tuffram covering. Could the civvy you saw be one of those?

Good idea!

I already have spyderco steak knives as my both serrated enduras reside in kitchen drawer.

Thinner mbs-26 blade would be even better.

Calypso jr. I have two BF blue natives. Those are THE natives to have BUT calypso jr (ltwt or micarta) is my choise for every task if these are the only possibilities. Reason is that while native is as goos as calypso in shallow cuts calypso is much better when cuts get deeper. Calypsos Whittling pe...

Competitor to my Calypso jr. Flat grind & vg-10 should make nice slicer.
I'll get one for sure!
I was hoping for bamboos not bats but green will do.

My thoughts exactly (although I have CF lady). Ladybug should be all serrated or all plain. It is too short to be semi. Normal ladybug shoud be plain and the sheepsfoot blade serrated --> one would be able to recognize blade style by shape without need to open the knife even in dark. Edited by - Tom...

I've wanted SS endura for a long time but the Blade steel aus-6 hinders me from buying one.

I've limited myself to one knife/month (because of financial reasons) this cruel self hindrance has kept me buying many.

That kind of clip design is the reason I have considered to buy EDI genesis. Ultra low ride clip, slim lock back with micarta handles and spydie hole - I wouldn't consider I'd buy.
