I have a few of the smaller Spydies (dragonfly, etc...), but tend not to carry them. The small grip renders them less useful ...

I EDC my orig Manix and hardly notice the weight, so long I'm not wearing elastic swimming trunks. Any pants with a belt, and I hardly remember I'm carrying it. Can't imagine the native will be too heavy.

Title says it all.... Attending an event at GM and put my card in a drawing. 30 mins later, I won. Gun retails for $750, and shoots amazingly well.... Super excited, this kinda thing never happens to me

Just discovered that a sig light laser combo unit I received as a gift a few years ago from my boss fits perfectly on my 15-22 rails... Sweetness. Will have to take some pics. Still need to shoot the thing tho...

Yes class 3 items are avalible in Wisconsin, such as supressors. There is a lot of red tape but they are tons of fun. If your interested google search for a class 3 dealer near you, give them a call they can explain the process, it can be a pain but I found it worthwhile.

Ps. Got the MOE version, which includes a bunch of magpul accessories. Gave the dealer an education on spydies when I pulled out my edc manix (old school, not new).

The S&W M&P doesn't function like an AR. If your concerned about an easy clean, Ruger did just come out with the 10/22 take down model that would be really easy to clean. Just twist the barrel off and clean it. Geez I sound like a Ruger spokesman. I have heard good things about the S&W though ...

I looked into it and decided to go with a Ruger 10/22 instead. Glad I did. I think you get overcharged for the gun looking "tactical". But, if thats what you want then go for it. I'm more practical than tactical, hence the Ruger. Not to mention that the 10/22 is the most customizable gun on the ...

Never had a non-locking Spydie, so I'm taking a leap... However, the price was so good at SierraTradingPost that I had to buy it ($58).

Yes and I agree, but the Tenacious line aren't meant to be BMWs. They are meant to be Hyundais. Cheap, but well made. They are "entry level" or "introductory" type knives. Most people can't buy a BMW as their first car, but a Hyundai might be do-able. Most people aren't going to spend $100 or more ...

I dunno about that, you have to remember that Hyundai despite its being looked down on by a lot of folks, won many car of the year awards for the Genesis in 2009 and again for the 2010 model. So despite where it was made, it is a hugely successful and quality product.

For me... I'm not 100% against it. However, I collect Spyderco knives because they're one of the best production knives out there. If you see a Spyderco knife in someone's pocket, you know they didn't sacrifice (they got the best).

The folder may be legal to carry according to state law but there may be some rules by the university prohibiting or restricting the carry of knives, though he did not specify if there was.

Most universities have anti-weapon statutes.
