I'm' fortunate here in Colorado. As a LEO, who's academy is actually located in Golden, pretty much everyone in my agency knows about Spyderco, and knows what they bring to the table, , , ,but I suspect we are unique in this regard.

Same here on the north end of Denver. Almost everyone on duty ...

I tried to answer some of your questions;

main issue with the Police3 is that I don't feel confident with a blade that's so thin that it can flex. It feels like I could snap this with my bare hands. It's like the knife should be used to filet rather than for EDC. I get the idea that if I ever had ...

Every year Spyderco has a big sale at the factory. Believe it or not, some of us are goofy enough to get there at o'dark thirty and wait in line several hours to buy them. :)

Hey brother. I could be wrong, but I could have sworn I read somewhere in this forum that soaking it in rubbing alcohol can help loosen some of that built up gunk.

You could also use it an excuse to retire it to a trophy shelf ( all cops have one of these, don't they? ) and pick up a new one.

I've been really happy with my seconds. I've gone the last three years, and the biggest problem I've had was a little up and down play on a Paramiltary, and a slightly off-set blade when closed on a Military. I still don't know whats wrong with my Ti Military, or Leafstorm. Spyderco makes such good ...

Shamelessly bumping this to keep up interest (hopefully).

I agree with the dark blue G10. Something like a dark navy blue or LAPD blue to blend in with uniform pants.

That is such a cool color. I wish Spyderco offered that, and a little lighter shade that would hide well in older faded jeans. Great job!

I routinely carry a Military or a Police model. At first, they seem too big when you're holding them in your hand, but after you carry them, you don't really notice them - neither one is very heavy. I mostly wear jeans, so that might help some. I also carry a second blade, usually a Chicago or a ...

The Endura is an excellent choice. You're really going to like it. I agree that the Delica would be another great choice. Small enough to be legal in most places, and big enough to EDC and defend yourself with.
