This is a model that deserves a second chance. Eric, are you listening?

Re: Just ordered my first SE knife. I'm nervous.

I almost always have an SE blade and a PE in the other pocket. I find each has its uses.

Re: Dragonfly 2 blade centering

It's never a good idea to try bending a blade. How bad is it rubbing? That slot is pretty tight and the blade can't move too much. There is little adjustment you can make on that knife. It's a 2.5mm blade in what is probably a 2.6mm slot, pretty little room for adjustment. Unless the blade was warpe...

Re: Q-Ball

I've got issues with the naked ball lock. Never found it easy to use. CBBL is vastly superior in my opinion.

The texturing on the P3LW is fine, it is the smooth, non-textured edges some of us find a bit slippery. Golden makes these smooth while Seki models have bit of an 'orange skin' like structure.
That smoother edge texture is my only gripe with the Para 3. I'd like a little more texture.

Re: LC200N Dragonfly

Can't see this being something I'd buy. LC doesn't have amazing edge holding and I am happy with my hawkbill D'fly for dirty work where rust resistance is important to me.

Re: Chief Lightweight

I thought any new G10 Spydie that does well in sales generally and eventually will become available in FRN (with or without liners) as a cost-savings. FRN happens to add lightness, but is lightness FRN’s intent?. With Spyderco being a bit backlogged in production, the lightweights offer faster prod...

Re: How fast can Spyderco go from the decision to do it to an actual FRN prototype? (Sal?)

I was told at blade show that most of the protos with lightweight handles are 3d printed. Probably makes for a short time frame.

Nice talking with Sal, Eric and Lance today. Some great stuff in the pipeline and a factory expansion coming for Golden.

The Lightweight Chief leads me to believe we will see a Lightweight Lil Native eventually too! ;)

Also, the Subway Bowie looks like it's going to be a great backpacking knife! That one is a must have.
Lightweight lil native backlock was there and it was sweet. Wire clip even.

Re: Removing or modifying bi-directional texturing?

I like the rounded edges, the flat slab scales are a turn off for me. I still don't get the bi-directional texture as an issue.

Add me to the baffled group. But I don't care for metal handles and could take or leave frame locks. It is definitely way overpriced IMO.

Re: H-1 first impressions

I prefer H1 to LC200N, because of the finger printing I've experienced with LC200N. It may dull some while out fishing but I can bring it back to razor sharp quickly with the Sharpmaker. I have heard a lot of reasons for choosing one steel over another. But, this has to be the most eccentric reason...
