Yes it's very easy to open, very smooth and it carries well, it's light and the wire clip lets it sit low.

A friend gave me a few knife magazines yesterday, one of them was a Japanese magazine called Knife. It has an article on Seki Spydercos, unfortunately all the writing is in Japanese but there are some cool pics of the factory and knives. Maybe somebody could provide a translation?
