I agree, a G10 scaled Sprint Navigator would be perfection. I'm liking the light weight as well as the handle shape of the Almite version. When I was a Spyderco "Rookie", I liked the looks of the Stainless Steel scales. Many years ago I bought a Co-Pilot with Stainless slabs, it immediately broke me ...

Almite Navigator musings

Spyderco got this right when the handle shape was made. This knife is a great example of a little big knife. Even with my big hands, I can lock my pinky around the tail of this knife, and bare down with my thumb on the back of the blade to exert some real force while heavy duty cutting. I don't ...

Received my Forager yesterday....WOW!...I got a "fluke" also...hair poppin' sharp out of the box...A word of warning, don't drop this knife while you are fondling it, it's likely to sever whatever it might encounter.

In the beginning...How it started...

How did y'all discover Spyderco knives? Here is my story...I was (am) a UPS delivery guy, no flaming please, that carried a small Swiss Army knife while on my delivery route. About twelve years ago, One of my deliveries was Toms Guns in Tacoma WA, while there fumbling to deploy the little knife, I ...

With input from some forum members, I chose to buy the CF Kopa. Scale durability was one of my main criteria. What a knife! The fit and finish on this knife is outstanding. Although not a large knife, the ergos and the added heft of the bolsters lets you know that you are using a quality tool. The ...

Durability of the scales considered, I'm thinking Carbon Fiber is my choice for the next acquisition. I've never intentionally "thrashed" a knife, unintentionally broken a tip off of a Spyderco, or misused a knife to scar or break it. I'm picturing a scene where the Turquoise Kopa is deployed ...

Kopa...who edc's one & scale durability

I've been oogling the Kopa for many months, it looks to be the right folder for many of my potential applications. I was just wondering...how are these holding up for those that are regularly carrying one. I'm sure the safe queens are holding up fine, I'm talking to those that are utilizing this ...

I got beat on this auction also. I placed the first bid on the 16th, $25.79. I had a good time checking out the various comments on my "grail knife". Actually, when I first saw it, I realized it was a hack job, but at the heart of that knife was kick-butt steel with rippin' serrations. I don't own ...

When I read "sprint run", I don't think "limited edition". Sprint runs have come out after the release of a particular knife, in this case though, a sprint run paved the way for a larger run of an in demand knife. Thanks Spydercrew for seeing the demand for this knife and making it available to more ...

....I too used my trusty serrated Tasman to clear a trail through blackberries, vines, and small bushes to get to some downed trees to cut for firewood. The knife grabbed onto, then sliced through whatever came its way. I know the true meaning of "bushwhacking".
