Hi dePaul

Unfortunately, I'm in about the same situation.
$125 for the Mil, $15 Shipping and about $60 in Import Duty and Tax.
So overall just under $200.

But as you say, sign me up and I'll do it all again ! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height ...

Hey,

It finally arrived !
Couldn't be more happy with it. (Even though I had to pay masses of import duty ! :b)
I now have a new centre piece for my collection.
Thanks to everyone involved.

Cheers

To be honest since becoming interested in the World of Spyderco, just over a couple of months ago, the levels of customer service I have experience has just defied belief. Never before have I dealt with a company that offers such a professional service while maintaining such a high regard for ...

Police Model Question

After recently receiving my Plain Edge G10 Police Model, I just have a quick question.

Most of the Spyderco catalogues I have read have stated that the Police model has "a distinctive grind atop the hollow-ground blade" but the Police model that I received does not. The blade surface is completely ...

I'd have to agree, the green almite looks awesome.
There is a similar thread running over on Blade Forums and there seems to be a lot of interest in a sprint run on the Dragonfly. IMHO I think that would be amazing in green almite !

I'd say that I prefer lock backs, not for any real techie reason, just that the first lock I got used to was a lock back and so now they just seem to feel right.

Hey, thanks for that Sal.
I just wan't aware that Spyderco had designed the Special Service.
Obviously, the similarities were there, but then again as you have said before, not all companies that have used Spyderco designs have done so officially.

Stolen Clip ?

I was just wondering whether Spyderco had ever authorised any other company to use a Spyderco clip on their own model.

It's just that as I was browsing through the Blade Source 2001 catalogue I noticed a Timberline Special Service model sporting a Spyderco Clip ! The clip has the Spydie logo on it ...
