I need recommendations, guys. :) I'm a Network Admin on the Server Team at a large hospital. Worked my way up from PC Tech and have been building computers since 1990. The one you're looking at from Puget is way overpriced . Their add-ons are overpriced, too. Check out the TigerDirect SysteMax comp...

This forum is my "go to" place for straight info on Spyderco knives. Lots of knowledgeable people and sometimes even Sal chips in (which is amazing to me). That's something you don't get with other knife companies. The one time I've called the "knife ER" at Spyderco, they were mo...

Antidote? Wish there was one. I swore off buying knives when I semi-retired the 2nd time. Then I made stupid mistake. Memorial day weekend, I walked into a knife store at an outlet mall "just to look." Walked out with a Manix 2 CTS-XHP and a Bug. I'd never ever even desired a Manix before ...

ok, so I think I get it now! Out of the 500 on that limited run, the first 200 were numbered and the last 300 were not! So, being as mine says 102V, that means that mine was 102 out of the 500 produced, and the V standing for variation! Great, thanks guys! Here's a link that describes the collector...

2 votes ?

I voted again and it let me. I again chose the cheaper knife, although the Manix 2 is a great knife (and I'd probably get it if chosen).

Is this a glitch on the voting?

Are you you all just dropping the whole knife into the dye? I realize some of the handles aren't removable and that's probably what has to happen. Has anyone noticed a negative impact on the metal parts, such as rust, corrosion, or patina changes? I may have missed the answer to my question, and I a...

Since I own a normal manix 2, and their are going to be alot of great knives released this year. Their is a better chance i will buy a cheaper priced Forum knife so I'm picking the UKPK Ditto! Just purchased the Manix 2 CTS-XHP and the pink handled 154 and cheaper is better for the budget now. Also...

Very nice collection! The XHP is my first Manix and now I wished I'd concentrated on getting them all. Love the lock on it but wouldn't be at all reluctant to get the mid lock version. Great knife and thanks for sharing ... now to find a blue one!

Thanks to all of you that left replies. I cannot regrind these myself, I have no equipment to do so. I suppose I could have someone do it for me. I'd probably send them to :spyder: though. It's definitely not the Forum.

Like the Deacon said, it's probably your IE cookie settings. OR some of the other security settings may be set too high.

Good luck getting it adjusted, I know it's a pain when the auto-login doesn't work.

no, I must be mistaken about the lock. Because I remember specifically that it had AUS-8 steel and the titanium model had ats-34.... I think it was the grey or violet aluminum model, plain edge, with the collectors club number. Too bad it's an Aluminum model Salsa. I've been on the lookout for the ...
